Bought it to be able to game nearly anywhere id like, so far, ive been playing diablo 4 and MW2. Very fast, great graphics and no issues so far. Excited to try some more things such as emulation and explore xbox gaming. Just need to be excited to learn and explore things before giving up. Its not really meant to be a desktop replacement, though you could buy the external video card for more power, expand the ssd, etc. if youre a beginner, stick to games compatible with controllers without manually having to tweak and setup.

This thing is awesome, display, comfort, sound, power of the device, except poor battery, but my solution is portable battery which gives me uninterrupted gaming for 12 plus hours. Ive been eyeing several handheld gaming devices for some time now but im glad i went with this one. I also plug in my Rokid Max glassed and my experience befomes on another level, its like playing on a huge TV without needing one, plus there is an adapter so I can charge and use glasses at the same time. Its a win win situation right there.

I’m traveling quite a bit and it’s a bit inconvenient to try and take a PlayStation station or an Xbox everywhere I go so I was starting to look for a handheld had many different options but decided to go with this one and let me say I did not regret it. It runs all my games perfectly. It looks good and it feels good while staying lightweight it’s got both quality and performance and at a good price especially if you can get it on sale. There’s many options out there, but if someone were to ask me, I would definitely recommend this one.

The ASUS ROG ALLY gets a 5/5 stars every time hands down! Runs every AAA game I have to play with ease! Whether I’m traveling or want to enjoy gaming while being able to sit on my couch while my family watches a movie, the Asus rog ally gives me that luxury! The folks down at Best Buy were able to answer all the questions I had about the console and were very professional and friendly! 5/5 stars for the console AND BEST BUY!

I purchased an open box ROG Ally for a terrific deal at Best Buy, and even though the hardware itself is fantastic, my experience wasn't quite as portrayed. When it was shipped to me, I noticed slight cosmetic damage… in other words, some scuffing on the bumpers. This was disappointing because Best Buy's description assured that there would be absolutely no cosmetic damage. In addition, the Windows installation had not been properly reset, so I had to manually reinstall it myself before the system was operational. That aside, with the extra work, the device is working well and functioning as it should. I just wish the description was more accurate and that the initial setup was done correctly. I do not know if this would have been possible for someone with less experience with windows. I would like to note that all of my issues were most likely with Best Buy and NOT with the product itself, it works well and I could not ask for a better handheld for the price.

Amazing product. Great for on the go and at home. with the power of AMD's RSR and AFMF2 you can get tons of performance out of this unit. The battery dies fast like this. But if you plug it in, it's amazing.

For those looking for a handheld gaming experience without breaking the bank, this PC is worth considering. It may not have all the bells and whistles of newer models, but it's a capable device that can still deliver a great gaming experience, especially with older games and indie titles.

As someone who owns a Steam Deck i bought this device cause i wanted just a little more power and i also wanted Windows so i could play my multiplayer games since Anti cheat doesnt play well with the Steam Deck. Im in love with it and its completely replaced the Steam Deck for me. Being able to play my game pass games and Battlefield and CoD and this thing runs it beautifully. Would highly recommend

This device far exceeds my expectations. That fact that it can play any game from almost any platform (including Steam) makes it far superior to the Stream Deck for me. The only thing preventing me from giving it five stars is the battery life. I could only play a game for about 25-30 minutes before the device needed to be recharged.

I love this handheld console so much, it’s basically a PC with Xbox controls and it’s just amazing, honestly runs games a lot better than low eng gaming laptops and AAA games run like nothing, I love it so much that this is the second one I buy since it will be a gift for someone special on Christmas and I know they’ll love it as much as I do. Only down side is the storage but you can easily buy a 1 tb as card and have a bunch of games

Good and fast portable mini pc. Game run smooth and have a nice clear screen. Nice led lights tone with the with color.

I was always hesitant wtih peoducts like these due to the performance and resolution. Love the 1080p screen and the FPS that I can achieve on it. The only thing that would have made it better would have been an OLED but the LCD is also pretty good. I can definitely recommend this product and can’t wait to get my hands on a eGPU (ROG XG mobile). I get around mid 50s with CoD MW2 campaign with mixed settinf on 1080p and in NfS Monst Wanted (2005) ~170 fps on 1080p, so far it handled every game pretty well.

compared to the Steam Deck the software could be so much better, but whether thats the price you pay for buying a Windows handheld or it being made by ASUS with their notoriously jank Armoury Crate software has yet to be seen. Despite the software jank though the performance, flexibility and the screen on this machine still makes it worth it in my eyes and it can handle emulation like a pro.

Compared to the Steam Deck, Rog Ally is a high-performance PC handheld console with a vibrant display and a high refresh rate. However, its drawback lies in battery life, as it can only sustain 1 hour of gameplay for AAA, requiring constant reliance on a charger. If you frequently use it outdoors, Steam Deck may be more suitable.

I did not know how life changing this item is, since I have problems in my back and im not able to be sit for more than 2 hours, this is really good cause I can be playing on my bed and it runs every single game I like

Been trying out several Windows handhelds looking for the perfect fit. Full-sized sticks, frontfiring speakers, a gorgeous 7-inch screen, a slim and reasonably lightweight design, this thing ticks a lot of boxes even before we get to the subject of power. Man the Z1 chip can really crunch through any game you throw at it, especially at that 30W turbo mode. Love this handheld, it's my favorite one in the current market.

I am happy with my purchase and would recommend. I bought to play InZoi and the gameplay is nice. I can use my USB to stream to my TV for larger screen play. I also play XBox Gamepass and Steam games. The fan does stay on gor a while however once cooled it will turn off and stay off. The batterly life unplugged is short, but plugged up is recommended. I do wish the battery life was longer unplugged, you may get 1 hour of gameplay unplugged. Overall, im happy with my purchase.

When this thing is plugged allowing to use the 30w mode is a beast! A lot of performance for a handheld, the 15w mode is enough to run some old games with great performance, but the battery still an issue. I got a good power bank and is very helpful when an outlet is not available. The future of handhelds looks very bright.

Very nice handheld gaming at an affordable price. Running nicely after some OS, fan, and power tweaks using g-helper and handheld companion. I compared it with a few other handhelds like the win gpd 4, steamdeck but settle on the rog ally due to the double fans, modding potential, 120hz screen. Ssd Was easily upgradeable with same 2230 nvme but later on fitting a 2280 4tb p3 plus removing a few plastic tabs with nail clipper/nose pliers.

The console is has great performance runs all game smoothly but the issue is its battery life.
