Good bang for the buck

Overall was ok for what it offers

But it's not perfect I didn't expect it to be tho. Discord on it was acting funny yesterday and discord kept freezing saint row ran just ok it was definitely some frame drops on that and COD and the boxing too I figure it will get better tho. It will good for on the go tho. To me if definitely aint taking the place of my PC or PS5 now it might just take the place of my switch on the go tho its just more options with the ally . Having the ability to have a small docking station to carry with is ideal for me even tho they are out of stock at the moment hopefully they will be back in stock before I go on vacation I look forward to the up dates.

This thing is very powerful but the battery drains very quickly and i feel like many people cant enjoy the games when played on that small of a screen

The screen is much better, it looks cooler, and it is faster. Most importantly it runs Windows by default, which means I can run Fortnite and other games without jumping through hoops. Unfortunately, my SD card failed after about a month of use. This is a very commonly issue if you search and appears to be a design flaw. I am returning it until there is some resolution.

It's not the huge leap in oerformance over the Deck that i was hoping for, but its definitely better.

The screen is so crystal clear and games look amazing on it. You can play all your games on it and this is why I got the Ally over the Steam Deck.

The only thing so far im worried about is the sd card problems, im nervous to use one. But will try to with a small sd card first!

Decided to get the Z1E and it is insanely better! I gave the base ROG Ally to my son and he has been enjoying Balatro on it. HIGHLY recommend the Z1E
