I love the light weight, color, and display. The only complaint is the buttons and joysticks aren't that good.

Very good handheld computer. I use it for xbox gamepass and it works well for that. Battery life is short, but that was expected.

I have played mostly light weight games with the ROG Ally and it has been mostly a good experience. The first one I got had a bad joystick but I was able to get it exchanged for one with no issues. The only other issue I have had with this device is that when you put it to sleep the rgb joystick rings will flash occasionally. Using hibernation mode in windows works fine however. Overall in the 10s of hours I have used the ROG Ally Z1 extreme, I have enjoyed using the device and have been able to play the games I wanted to play on it.

Very clever creation very pleased. Waighting for a newer model then the next one.

The perfect windows hanheld for people who want a premium experience at the cost of battery life. Excellent, bright 120hz screen with shockingly vibrant and extensive color gamut.

Amazing purchase, handheld PC gaming made easy and accessible. I get great battery life playing indie games and emulating my old games. Perfect machinr for playing through the first 15 Final Fantasy games (3-4 hours of battery life on all of those games) and even handlea FF16 and the remakes well albiet with ~1 hour of battery. Only other downside for newer games is the limited storage, but streaming games from my dedicated PC tower helps both the battery and save on onboard storage.

A miniture PC designed to take games from different platforms and have them controller compatibility. Not as powerful as a good laptop but a fun device that is easy to use. The touch screen and mouse mode help navigate the regular PC. Not bad but a bit awkward.

If you enjoy pc gaming and all the headaches that come with it, but want that on the go then this machine was built for you. I LOVE my RoG Ally. I get to play all my steam games, all the available Xbox gamepass games, AND emulation. Sign me up.. also look up on YouTube on how you can connect remotely to your PS5, there's something to be said about being able to play God of War Ragnarok and Starfield while dropping a deuce.

This is the best handheld console I ever used. I love the way I can play all my steam and Xbox games in the go, even though the storage is a problem, I still manage to download the games I want to play on the go.

Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son, who is a serious gamer. He loved it. Only drawback is the battery life.

Better display and more power than the Steam Deck. Yes, Windows isn’t ideal, but its fine. More compatibility than SteamOS. Battery isn’t great but adults know how to manage.

Its the best handheld gaming device i have ever used. Perfect for demanding games and Perfect for retro and emulation. The system feels great and its design is beautiful. The rog z1 Extreme is a masterpiece

This is a great handheld. If you pick up the plug it is a pc you can take anywhere with you. Hasn't had a hiccup yet.

I am very happy with my purchase, the Asus Ally addressed all my personal issues with the Steam Deck (screen, game pass support, speakers) Now the biggest elephant in the room is is it better than a Steam Deck? Honestly it depends on you as a gamer. If you are going to want to play more AAA games then the Ally all day. If you want simplicity, comfort, and still play most games the Steam Deck is the winner. I believe long term the Steam Deck will be the winner but the Ally is a wonderful device to add a touch of competition. In terms of the reviewss saying its buggy. I guess not many of them used a steam deck within the first six months of release.

I was just amazed by how well the graphics were executed when they came together and it made me feel so much better about giving it to my family for Christmas. I was disappointed that the free monthly Xbox game card didn’t work for me and I was not able to use it in other platforms

It can run most of the games I want to play. There are some minor software and hardware bugs that have some easy fixes.
