Allowed to start gaming more again. I just had a had a baby and the portability of this device has allowed me to get back into gaming! I love it!

Overall a nice device. Lower rating is due to the fact that windows on a handheld is really not fun. It’s not designed for a handheld touchscreen. Build quality is solid. Fan noise is ok on 15-18w but at 25w gets a bit loud. Screen is fantastic. Performance is great at 30w plugged in.

Awesome product no regrets, can take the power of a next gen system on the go.

Been using it to game and as a pc since January. Played almost every game on pc gamepass with this. Can play some very demanding games on this with low settings. With a good usb c hub, m&k and 100w gan charger and monitor/tv this device works well as a pc replacement.

Like the title says, not bad for an open box special. The only main concerns that I have is that: 1. It seems to go a bit slow every now and then 2. The SD card doesn't always read, but reads fine in my laptop. Leading me to believe that it is a problem with the Ally, not the SD card Other than those two problems, my daughter and I love it

This thing is amazing. Im always on the go and barely have the time to game on my pc anymore. This is the perfect console for me. Now it may not be for you as this is windows 11 and its got bugs and issues (sd card error, updates, etc etc) but if your not scared of a few bugs and are willing to put in the effort, this is a perfect device for on the go gaming. Just make sure you know what you are getting into

Very powerful device that can handle triple A games and the best part it's portable.

I have been loving my ally so far. Runs all my games with no issues. Great for someone who is on the go or wants to relax in bed.

Being a gamer and having a pc, Xbox, and a switch, I would say this is my favorite go to out of all of them. The graphics are by far my favorite part of this masterpiece. For a handheld pc, I am thoroughly pleased with how well this machine plays. It’s a little confusing at first, but Best Buy has the best videos on their site for how to navigate through the ally. I do not regret my purchase!

I imagined this product 15 years ago when Xbox 360 was out. I wanted it to be a reality so bad. When the switch came out it was the closest thing to it, but this blows the switch out of the water. I have 2 young kids so finding time to sit down in front of a tv or computer to play games is nearly impossible. Now I play this thing all over the place at the house, at work, or if I go out for lunch. I haven’t been able to game in years and I love this!

The ROG Ally is a great handheld device running windows. Decent Battery Life, amazing screen. Lightweight and incredibly portable.

Pros +powerful gaming handheld +can multitask while gaming +cool looking and decent ergonomics +can run emulators like a boss +can play pc games 1080p (30fps on AAA) Cons -software a bit buggy and awkward at first but might get fixed -windows might not be for everyone -not a full console experience like the psp , ps vita or nintendo switch -still needs software updates since its a bit of mess

Powerful enough to run the newest games out (within spec and reason ofc) and portable?! No brainer!

It is what it says. The battery life is the worst thing about this. other than that it ran Fortnite, apex, and rainbow very well with fps. a good nightstand to watch Netflix or YouTube. not portable though due to battery life. the joystick trigger dead zone are terrible as well.

Amazing Device, also it runs great with even the toughest games. I would give it 5 stars but the WiFi continues to disconnect and it took me hours to find out a solution.

This has gotten much better since release. The updates helped with performance and now it turns on and you can just play. Runs games very well and medium settings. I'm very impressed with the hardware and screen. I wish it had quick resume like the Steam Deck. Hopefully it'll be added in a future update.

I love this thing. The performance on games is incredible when you mostly play AAA games. Its light, it feels good in the hands. But the left stick stopped working and would not move up and down which apparently is a known issue with these. Had to return it and there was no longer a sale. Will be waiting for a bigger sale to occur.

Can run red dead redmeption 2 at native resolutin and combination of medium/high (with ultra textures) at 60 fps in performance mode. Also enjoying diablo 4 at 60+ fps in my desired settings… windows can be a pain, and the software is new.. so you kind of need to be patient.. but the support is there and I believe the device will only get better with time. Havent ran into any issues that resukts in unplayable gaming, just need to learn how to operate it while its in the early stages. Excired for the future of the ally

Very fun and perfect to PC games on the go! Had my eye on this for awhile and finally got one. Not disappointed.

After readijg all the reviews both positive and negative i decided to give this a try. I absolutely love it. I didnt run into any issues with my device. Its been a blast and i sold my gaming laptop. I travel a bit for work so having this on the go has been a real treat than lugging my laptop around with all the components as well. If you are familiar with gaming on desktop/laptop windows then this should be a rather easy product to use. For what this product can do the price is actually decent.
