Amazing handheld. ASUS is synonymous of quality. Even the SD card issue at the moment mine it's working great!

holy moly. why get a laptop? it’s like a jack of all trades. almost any game is playable with the right settings. great as a handheld and great when docked. hook it up to a monitor/TV, mouse and keyboard. boom, your gaming.

I love my ROG Ally. After owning the steam deck, I was really itching for that experience but with a handheld that had a bit more power to it. Besides the minor tweaks to get the Ally where you want I have no complaints to this point with this device. Although after only a short time my SD card slot did not work like most other reviewers are saying. I am able to upgrade the storage but feel like the SD card is where the Ally failed.

Great handheld system. I purchased it since my wife and kids take over all the TVs. Now I get a chance to play games while they watch their show. Storage could be better, i usually game on the cloud via game pass, so i guess is not too much of an issue. However if you have a big library in steam, storage wont be enough. I havent had a chance to test the sd card. Hopefully it will work.

At the beginning was a little concern of this product but it was at excellent purchase, now I can play on the same games that I have on my Xbox thanks to the play anywhere

This thing is fantastic, plays all my AAA games in low-med settings at 45+ even 60+ fps depending on the game. It is quite a bit more involved than other "consoles" but if you have a bit of windows knowledge it's very easy to setup and use. Definitely consider upgrading to 1TB SSD.

Great micro gaming computer and portable but battery is a little underwhelming

For a handheld device is definitely works hard for such a compact device. Everything about it runs better than even my gaming laptop. The only downside for me is the awkwardness of holding it. For comfortability it nots as good as id like. But thats still minuscule compared to everything else it offers

Its a good product, however I wish it had a longer battery life. There is also an issue with the sd card readers on most of the rog allys that fries sd cards I haven't personally tried an sd card on mine since 512gb is plenty for what I use it for.

The ROG Ally is the best handheld on the market. While Windows isn’t quite as smooth as SteamOS, this device FEELS amazing to play on and it allows me to play all of my Game Pass titles, Steam titles, and so much more. Definitely my best purchase this year.

Battery dies quick and it gets hot when you are playing heavy games

Great handheld. A little fine tuning on mist games but can get most to work. Wish it had usb 4 to connect external graphics card like its pricier brother.

Most of the reviews describe how this is for gaming, but I find it to be a very portable and powerful computèr for on the go 3D scanning and 3D printing using Cura. It would be nice to have another usb port and a longer battery, however, battery life can be extended to about 7 hours in the Silent mode. Programs can be run on the Ally like Duet to create a 2 screen setup with an Ipad.

Gave this for my son birthday. Very handful can bring everywhere. Very clear sound and picture.

I bought this handheld for my birthday and I think its decent, but after a software update from ASUS there has been a pretty annoying software bug. Whenever you use the Legacy Command Menu that was replaced by a new menu, and you open the menu to switch power options, it bugs the controls and switches between Desktop controls and Gamepad controls and it gets annoying when i'm unable to control my game. Second bug i have notice is when I play a game, at certain random intervals it would boot me to the home screen of Windows. This is only recommended at cheap prices or when on sale.

Great device to use when traveling or just want to couch play pc games. Works great with D4. Great buy highly recommend.

Played Diablo 4 really well on medium settings. Really cool to run around with a portable pc and use it for other things than playing. For first person shooters, cod, destiny, there is a pretty noticeable latency issue between the display and the built in controllers although for something like Diablo it worked well

This has been a great device. It’s my favorite for retro handheld gaming. I also have played Hogwarts Legacy on it and it plays very well. For the more powerful games it is better to play plugged in to get the most power out it. They still play well in the battery as well. You won’t be disappointed with the Ally

Really enjoy the ROG so far. Battery life is below average but overall very happy with the device.

Now whenever j want to okay any if me heavy games that arent in my switch, i no longer have to bring anither cintroller wirhme! Now i can use the native pc apps to play all my games and i can dock the system and use it that way too! Its insane that with some good signal? And access to a powrrbank/outlet and i can play FFXIV in the go! Or if im im the mood for some indie games ill be good all the time. Plus the color scheme makes it perfect for a neutral setup if youre a girl like me!
