Great device, very powerful, but the battery life isn't there yet. It's possible that the hardware and battery is adequate, but software isn't there yet. I didn't encounter the sd card burn issue, but it's obviously a teething problem that I hope they will overcome. The on screen keyboard is difficult to use if you ever want to use the ally for productivity.

Great system. Reason for my 3 stars is the one I got originally had a broken left trigger. And my friends system got a broken SD drive and actually corrupted his card and is a known issue. Overall great system compared to the steam deck, easier to play windows games like Diablo 4 and game pass as eell

I absolutely love this thing. It completely replaced my desk top, wish handheld could reasonablt have more power but for what it is works great. Played all of cyberpunk and it's dlc on it both as a handheld and docked to a TV.

The ROG is pretty amazing for getting that on the go gaming fix. Initial set-up is simple but annoying since it IS basically a windows PC. But after that is done correctly it works like a charm! And i say 'correctly' because when my initial set-up finished, something didnt install as it should have, and armoury crate was not working at all so i had to do a whole reset and set-up again. After that it works perfectly!

Truly the best gaming experience. I play ck3 and stellaris on the couch while my girlfriend watches her shows and the dogs lay around loving it. Works great with headphones and the clarity and response is perfect. 10/10

I have mixed feelings about this gaming handheld. The Rog Ally is a perfect option for PC gamers who don’t mind tinkering and tweaking. It’s not for everyone though, as the user experience frustrations caused by Windows might annoy some. The amount of adjustment you have to do to the settings to get games running nicely also make the Ally struggle for less technically savvy. Battery life is also not a good one, but fast charging helps Ally get back to works immediately.

This is a great system once you get it set up and optimized. Runs some pretty demanding games really well. It isn’t a laptop replacement but in the handheld gaming market this little system really shines. Upgrade the internal storage and pick up some accessories, dock, power bank etc. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials out there that will get you up and running quickly too.

This machine is like having magic in my hands, the speed, the quick response that the joysticks have, the variety of things that you can do such as watch videos, look for reviews for other devices, and other awesome things like its wide storage. Its perfomance cannot be compared with other devices in the same line of products. I really enjoy having it and I don't regret buying it

The ROG Ally is a great device for those who want to PC game but prefer the freedom to game away from a desk. I have a Mac and didn't want to build a gaming PC as I don't like gaming at a desk. I've been a handheld and console gamer for decades and like to be able to play games on my couch, in bed, or anywhere else I want. The ROG Ally lets me do that.

I can play diablo 4 on max settings with no issue, works just like my gaming pc but I can bring it anywhere.

Ever since this was announced i was hesitant on buying one due to price & if id actually use it since I have a PS5. After about a month I forget half of the time I have a Ps5. I always have my Rog with me. It performs almost every game ive tried to play. Currently playing helldivers 2 check it out. Also the fact its functioning windows makes this my laptop.

I bought this for my husband. Had a couple issuses when getting it set up it didnt want to load my steam or xbox but after some youtube videos got it up and running. Works best connected to wifi but dont have a problem using it without. Planning on buying another for myself.

Awesome service and kind agents at the outlet site. I would highly recommend BEST BUY for knowledge and their hospitality service they provide with their products. Asus Rog is a high powered gaming rig with the performance to handle games and other random task for multimedia consumption .The Rog stays cool while under load gaming and the display with audio doesn’t disappoint. Arguably one of the best pc handhelds on the market. Despite the battery life, it's been great with gaming and is now my home pc when connected to the ROG charger.

Love this thing run most of the games I want to play including war zone with no lag or issues
