Persona 5 Royal on the go has been a treat to play on Ally. VRR screen makes the game play smooth with no tearing. Ally is better than Legion Go and Claw! If only Ally has an OLED screen, then it would be perfect.

At first, I was unsure about the performance of this machine. But once I dialed in the settings of the games I was looking to play, (Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, Days Gone, Assassin's Creed Valhalla), the games ran at a smooth 60 fps and still looked great. If you are someone who is away from your PC a lot and still want to game, this is a great option.

Asus Rog is a high powered gaming rig with the performance to handle games and other random task for multimedia consumption .The Rog stays cool while under load gaming and the display with audio doesn’t disappoint. I got this after having the Steam Deck for eight months. I loved the deck but the problems playing certain games and lack of egpu ability is what made me purchase this and try it. I love it. Its pretty amazing. The battery life is atrocious I will say. Keep that in mind. But overall with how I use this my personal experience is a pleasant one that exceeds the deck.

This is the funnest device I own. You really need to adjust expectations with this machine, but its really so much fun and change how I approach video games. This is a casual gaming device. Battery life is about 2 to 4 hours depending in the game. I would recommend getting a good battery pack if you want to be off the wall more than just casually.

This device is everything I’ve wanted for a while now I have full access to my Xbox gamepass library including PC exclusives All my games have had no trouble hitting the high fps numbers but I tend to be satisfied with a smooth 60fps for everything in order to save battery life. I’ve managed to get almost 2 hours of battery running it at that between multiple games

I will preface this review by saying its faults are not the devices or brands fault for the most part. It really is an amazing product, but I wish there was more here. The brand "republic of gamers" makes products marketed towards gamers, but this device is nearly useless in most games without a dock, 100W charger, keyboard, and mouse. In games that already support controller controlls, like stardew valley, ive been having a blast, and for that, I give ROG an A+. ROG themselves fortunately made it possible to customize these controls, but once again it feels very very difficult, and im not saying its ROG, or the devices fault, but the reason i give them 4 instead of 5 stars, is because of the way they marketed the device, and also not giving the option to view games that have controller support. I think ROG can make this product better by packing the device with a 100W charger instead of the 65W, for people looking to dock the device, as well as including software similar to that of operas game viewing programs, specifically filtered to view games that fully support controller controls.

This machine is like having magic in my hands, the speed, the quick response that the joysticks have, the variety of things that you can do such as watch videos, look for reviews for other devices, and other awesome things like its wide storage. Its perfomance cannot be compared with other devices in the same line of products. I really enjoy having it and I don't regret buying it

This is a great system once you get it set up and optimized. Runs some pretty demanding games really well. It isn’t a laptop replacement but in the handheld gaming market this little system really shines. Upgrade the internal storage and pick up some accessories, dock, power bank etc. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials out there that will get you up and running quickly too.

I love my ROG Ally. I also own the SteamDeck, Nintendo Switch, and Legion GO, but I find the ROG Ally to be my favorite and go to device for playing games on the go or even when relaxing in bed. Because it runs Windows, everything runs on it. It handles AAA titles such as Hogwart's Legacy and Diablo IV just fine.

Pretty good to be a portable pc, i can play games anywhere. Battery last around 2 hours depending on which game you play with which is pretty good for a pc, gaming laptops are about the same

Phenomenal. Asus once again shows it's the King of PC Gaming and manages to murder the Steam Deck with ease. Don't waste your time with Valve and SteamOS; this is a pocket gaming PC showing every bit of ASUS and AMD's power.
