Having purchased both the rog ally and legion go and weeks of testing i gave the latter the shot. Dont get me wrong the rog ally is solid and speedy but not as smooth inbetween gaming and desktop use. also keep in mind it does have its issues such as the sd card possibly failing i didnt want to take that chance

Absolutely no isses like some of the other comments . Only thing was at the beginning the keyboard was not showing up but i pressed up on the d pad and the back right button and got i manually up. Only on setup now it works perfectly.i had a steam deck on windows but cod wouldn’t work right and other games as well. This one does it all and then some, betterscreen, 120hz. No complaints, ive done all the updates as its a new device so itll have constant ones .

I love this thing! Its a tank. No issues. Battery life is small but understandable for the power its pulling

Great device as long as you know what you are getting into Great for pc gaming and emulation as it can pretty much emulate all consoles that have working emulators, again as long as you understand that this is a handheld pc and not a handheld console (meaning you will have to set it up like a pc) I say give it a go The unit I have has no hardware issues.

Ever since this was announced i was hesitant on buying one due to price & if id actually use it since I have a PS5. After about a month I forget half of the time I have a Ps5. I always have my Rog with me. It performs almost every game ive tried to play. Currently playing helldivers 2 check it out. Also the fact its functioning windows makes this my laptop.

Works well, plugged in or not. Problem is the battery only lasts an hour to two depending on what you are playing, and you can count on it being finger-burning hot after about 15 minutes.

Whether I would recommend this or not is "it depends". Hardware is solid, fast, and works as advertised. Battery life is as expected (a few hours max on intense gaming, longer on lighter loads). It runs Windows though, and there is no escaping that. On the plus side that means it is compatible with a large set of saoftware. On the downside, it comes with the clunkiness of tryin to use Windows on a small screen device. It took about an hour before I could use it at all out of the box by the time it installed Windows updates, Asus updates, BIOS updates, etc. The times you have to break out of Asus Armory Crate, Steam, or Xbox apps and intertact with the Windows desktop are very painful. So.... Do I recommend it? If you are OK with Windows, and all that entails in terms of updates/management/upgrde/etc, then YES, If you are looking for a Switch-like handheld that you can always just pick up and play with no fuss, then NO. It will take more interaction, management, and administration than that.

I bought this for my husband. Had a couple issuses when getting it set up it didnt want to load my steam or xbox but after some youtube videos got it up and running. Works best connected to wifi but dont have a problem using it without. Planning on buying another for myself.

I was excited about this device, it has a great screen played modern games decently. I ultimately returned the item, it had slow download rates. Another issue I had was the sleep/wake up and the built in control would not work and it would require a reboot.

Absolutely love this beast of a handheld pc. Brings me back to the old days of playing on my psp

Great purchase for those on the go plays most games pretty well and just looks amazing in white.

At first I really was weary about purchasing since I already had another device that I could play my games on my phone, but this thing knocks anything else out of the park. Setup was relatively easy and I took others comments and updated any software before I put it through it's paces. I haven't needed to do heavy configuring since I use it for moderate gaming and emulation. For the price, I don't think you can beat it.

It’s like playing my Xbox without having my Xbox. It plays games like a dream and the PC capabilities is a plus.

This thing is awesome! So if you’re looking for something to play on the go definitely recommend. I was thinking of this or the steam handheld even the Aya Neo ultimately went with this due to the look and size and not disappointed. Should note I’m a hardcore gamer mostly got this for the airport on work trips so really will probably play 15-20 hours a month.

Got it a little late but only by a day or two of release. Out of the box had to reset because armory crate would not load. After windows reset everything was working fine. Assassin Creed Chronicle crashed system but looked it up and it’s a game issue. Watchdog two runs fine and AC Odyssey bench ran fine. Steam games ran fine. My only issue is low storage.

This is a reasonable product for the cost to be used as an alternate entertainment option.

Tweaks are needed to get the best match between battery life and game quality. Some of the controlling for games can be a learning curve that is not super simple, but the same is true on any hand held. Cannot play XBox games offline easily, so if travelling make sure you have a hotspot.

My favorite device! Great for travel. Works well when docked.

Ok this thing is powerful, and the XG port makes it worth it even more. This is now my mobile gaming system with an XG dock. It can even play VRChat through Oculus with the XG card. Diablo is running ad med to high in portable mode. Beef swith the system. Got to start this off with the battery life. Its fairly small at 2 hours. Next is windows sucks in tablet and portable mode though I manage windows tablets at my work it's still a pain to use.
