Ive never had a problem with the rog ally when it first got released beside the lagging and sd card not reading but after a GEEK SQUAD fixed up everything was running great and no problems run all my games i have best purchase i made

I got this portable pc for gaming and some work on the road and let me tell you it does not disappoint. It is amazing how much power is stored in this little guy. It is more powerful than my slightly older pc. Plays GTA5 flawlessly, I managed to run Assetto Corsa and Project Cars and they looked beautiful. I even hooked it up to my TV and it runs amazingly well there as well.

Loving the rog ally! I cant believe 1080p gaming in a handheld natively is now possible. The 120hz display is actually grest looking and the colors are great. Now since this is the first major handheld pc somethings on windows needs smoothed out but thats microsoft to figure out. Easy to upgrade store i already have 3tbs of storage plenty enough for on the go. Nice to know if i wanted to make it my dedicated gaming pc i could with the xg mobile.

I play a lot of cozy games and controller works perfect for them. Its full windows 11 and i can download all my launchers and mods, compatible with all file types. There are some games that dont support controller yet that i cant play but for the most part i can play everything. Absolutely love this thing, runs great and allows more flexibility. My store had several open item units for $100 off too.

So far it runs games pretty smoothly. I did the updates which is definitely the first thing you need to do. Armoury crate is alright and honestly, it runs as expected on a handheld running windows. I was one of the first to preorder the steam deck and was pretty disappointed more so with the display. The ally’s display is way better and the fact that im not limited to just my steam library is a plus. It’s only going to get better with the updates

Great performance. Battery life is decent for what it is as long as you understand this is not meant to play top titles in turbo mode for hours. Biggest complaint is build quality. Some of the buttons felt fairly cheap for a device that costs $500+.

The ROG Ally is muc more capable than the Steam Deck, which i sold the purchase this. I have not had any issues downloadijg and playing games from various services, such as Xbox Game Pass, and steam, and battle net. Some people have reported issues with micro sd cards, i have not experienced any isses eith mine. The screen is perfect and varable refresh rate works perfect. My only complaint ia that i havent had enough time to play.

It’s good product has worked fine. Battery runs out fast but I just leave the charger plugged.

Best hand-held I've personally used. I just wish it came with bigger storage, luckily it's upgradeable!

I am not easily impressed but this thing is amazing. I really wanted a steam deck but could not get myself to buy it due to the bad screen quality. Low resolution and bad colors. The ally does everything and have not had one issue. It runs windows so if you are familiar setup and use will be a breeze. Still a few software things I hope Asus improves on like more features for aura sync, allow macros to work in auto mode and a few other small things

Used mostly for gaming, but can be used for any computer function. Think of it as a gaming laptop that's handled. It plays Reminent 2(with some tweaking), fps with no problems, any scroller or 2d games give that awesome console feel. I use it for remote access into my desktop also. Very powerful little machine. Can connect Bluetooth mouse and keyboard while connected to a TV or monitor. Really pleased with this device.

Lubbock Best Buy is on top of things. They got this to me at a great deal. It’s performed very well for a handheld system and the Geek Squad at Best Buy keeps it in top shape for me!

I purchased the rog ally on july 2nd 2025. 2 weeks later 2 days after my return period ended they lowered its price by 150 dollars. I called the store and they refused to do anything to make it right for me. Also my ROG has killed 2 SD cards alrdy with its SD car slot issue. Great machine besides the SD issue and I would recommend never shopping at Best Buy as they refuse to budge on 2 days beyond the return period to match there huge price reduction. I will be solely doing amazon going forward even tho i have a BBY CC. I will not be shopping at this horrible store with zero customer service

Allowed to start gaming more again. I just had a had a baby and the portability of this device has allowed me to get back into gaming! I love it!

What can ibsay this thing is a beast. Can play any game out there right in the palms of your hands.

I use this every day. Plays AAA games without a problem and is easy to use.

Absolutely love this console. Runs my games flawlessly! Comfortable in my hands too! I have always been a gamer and now I have something to play on when I can't be on my desktop. I did change out the hard drive for a bigger one before I loaded any games because I knew I would want more storage. Was super easy to do!

I already own a Xbox S and I wanted a hand held. This works grea. Having great to time.
