Best hand-held I've personally used. I just wish it came with bigger storage, luckily it's upgradeable!

Played everything I cared about perfectly. Battery life was acceptable for a handheld running pc games

I am not easily impressed but this thing is amazing. I really wanted a steam deck but could not get myself to buy it due to the bad screen quality. Low resolution and bad colors. The ally does everything and have not had one issue. It runs windows so if you are familiar setup and use will be a breeze. Still a few software things I hope Asus improves on like more features for aura sync, allow macros to work in auto mode and a few other small things

This was a great addition to my consoles. I play my switch all the time but am disappointed by the limited library, I also have a ROG Zephyrus but dont have the accessibility to play it all the time. The Ally is a best of both worlds. With the updated ASUS has sent out it runs great. I have no problems playing Baldur's Gate 3, Elden Ring, and Cyber Punk 2077. Plus its modable

What can ibsay this thing is a beast. Can play any game out there right in the palms of your hands.

Good product, ergonomics and battery life could be better.

It runs really well and is fast, the graphics are pretty good as well. The one thing I’m not a huge fan of is the battery life. It lasts somewhere between 1-2 hours. So not the best if you wanna take it on a long trip without somewhere to plug it in. But still pretty good. I love it.

The rog ally can function as a laptop. It plays games very well. When playing in battery though you will notice some stuttering. My SD slot is damaged as it was burned inside out however it still works. Don’t bother with a SD card, just get a bigger drive.

Really good handheld console, I wish there was an option for more storage such as 1 tb instead of having to buy a micro sd card or ssd card for the device. Also there was a few problems with my ROG ally when I had my sd card in for a few weeks. Overall pretty nice, I play Xbox and pc games, pretty new to Steam, usually a console player.

Excellent system, perfect middle ground handheld along the Asus lineup. Competitive as a handheld and is capable for my use case practically as a great hardware mobile computer with Windows/Virtualization.

This product is perfect for someone who wants to get into pc gamming and is used to a controller for gameplay great price for a low in pc that can play AAA games when pluged in. Although if you do want to play it on a bigger screen you would need to buy other cords and parts. Thats the only down fall to me.

I’ve never been that big into handhelds and the joysticks you have to adjust but I actually love this thing I have played a lot of games on it but mondernwarefare I can play once then it restarts with a gig update haven’t figured it out yet I have actually played vr games on it and it does decent

I love it serves my purposes well. Like having a handled laptop. Only issue is battery life but gaming laptops batteries are most as bad. The Ally has multiple different battery saving options. I would recommend it over any the steam deck, msi, or the Lenovo version.

Love it. The worst thing about the product is the battery life. Apart from that it is perfect.

Before anything,, If you OWN AN ALLY!,,, for 4$ there is a right angled M.2 Adapter online that lets you put in a full 2280. Every other cheap PC handheld doesn't do that. in Theory if you could afford a 8TB drive, it could be done.. The screen size on the Go is tempting, This is lighter and still gets heavy in certain positions. I really Really HATE That ASUS needs to know who I am for a Graphics Driver...AMD releases Z1 Extreme drivers through the builder not directly.... And Windows.....almost want to hack it. Whatever happened to devices working and not holding themselves hostage without having my info? Shame on ASUS, Shame on Microsoft. the UI " works" but Big Picture is better. It runs Starfield better than I figured it would. The touch Keyboard is just not good! I wish you had the option to make it a 98% style for more functionality, or put a big move button so I can read what I'm typing. It's a great Device with mostly bloatware/software gags. Also final Gripe! Hall effect say What?

For those still uncertain, watching a few videos could provide clarity. However, I wholeheartedly recommend it for gamers seeking a straightforward yet powerful handheld option.

The performance of the ally was top notch. It feels well build, the controls are good, and the screen is great. My problem is that is needs a UI. Windows on a tiby screen is annoying. I ended up returning it for that reason.

Short and Sweet: play all your favorite PC games from Steam, Gamepass, Epic Launcher, and more! If you can play it on a regular PC, you can play in this! Perfect for those who like to emulate! On top of that, you can run all your microsoft 365 apps and use effectively with a (sold seprately) dock! 10/10 reccomend. Im giving it 5/5 even thiugh the micro SD card doesnt launch some games. Im holing a future update will take care if it.
