Storage is VERY limited and expanding it is almost as much ss the unit itself. Runs Very Hot too if sitting in lap. Returned. Good idea. Not readt yet.

I’ve noticed ROG has better visuals for the most part. I play Starfield with no issue. I haven’t found an easier way to download updates - I had to visit ASUS website to take full advantage of the device versus Steam Deck which is more streamlined.

Mobile access to ffxiv is always good, and helps clear the PC backlog I’ve amassed. ffxiv works good on 15w and thats the most AAA game I’ve got for pc so I dont have many battery problems. Still lets me access my art tools too with mouse and keyboard / dock compatability.

Pros include ability to use multiple gaming services; form factor is comfortable to hold; and keeps up with high frame rate. Cons include gets hot near SD card insert; new BIOS update has slowed down performance. Overall, a great portable gaming machine.

Does it give you 4k 60 FPS Untra settings on every game? No! Does it give you 1080p great framerates and good-great settings? ABSOLUTELY! THIS THING ROCKS!! I plopped in a 2TB m.2 NVME drive and have every game i could want on it! SERIOUSLY, this thing is awesome!! Buy it, you will not be dissapointed!!!!

Feels great in the hands, buttons feel substantial and the touch screen was nice and responsive. Ran games super great at max settings for the device, and having the option for all the various launchers AND Gamepass is a huge plus. I just couldn’t reconcile with the battery life and the necessity to buy external battery power to carry around with it and be tethered to. Battery life at max settings is around 90 minutes, so if youre truly being mobile and playing on a road trip/flight, be prepared to have an outlet nearby to be tethered to. Fantastic device but I just don’t think batteries are where they need to be for the experience this device is capable of providing.

Plays most of my library with ease, and has a lot of customizable options to work and tinker your games to what you want. Keep expectations in check though: This thing has a 120Hz refresh rate, but not every game will run at 120Hz max settings. It's a portable after all, don't expect monster level PC levels of performance here.

It really carries a lot of form from the steam deck but it has windows for better or for worse. I've been playing everything from persona 5 through game pass to halo reach, destiny 2 and even a bit of civilization. Battery life is awesome and the turbo mode makes all games run smoothly. Seriously get this if you're mobile and can't alway pill out the entire laptop.

Portable gaming at its best!

Havent had a single issue with any game ive tried to run on it. I can even install my remote play and ps+ apps to play games from my ps5/ps+ subscription. Having a full Windows OS opens up much more possibilities than the Steamdeck. 10/10 purchase!
