Very easy to use. Games run great on them even triple A games.

Excelent all around device, it would be great if it came with a case. Armory crate works well and should only get better over time. This is a great all around computer you can take anywhere as long as you bring the cable. The Ally plays games very well, the sound is amazing, overall great value.

Love the screen. Its fast and everything that i hoped it would be.

I’ve had this product for about a month now and have used it everyday since I bought it. Only con is the battery life is very weak but that can be remedied with a battery pack. Still would’ve liked to have around 3-4 hours of gaming time without a pack instead of 1-1.5 hours.

This is great I love the fact that is a handheld windows PC. It has a built-in controller which actually works really well plus I don't just have to put my steam and Xbox games on it any game that runs on my computer can go on it. The only downside is the hard drive space is a little small but hey you can use Microsd cards.

ROG ally is works great. Purchased to play unsupported games from the Steam Deck. Other than adjusting profiles for specific games, the system plays as expected. Also purchased due to arthritis in my hands, and struggle to play games with a gaming controller anymore. The spread of the controls works better for me when it comes to gameplay.

Unfortunately i have to rate it a 2/5 because of the issues I was dealing with. I purchased this product today and will be returning it tomorrow. I gave it 8 hours of play time and followed everyones suggestions on updates and settings for optimal gameplay. Within 8 hours my system restarted 4 times on its own or was shutting down programs by itself. I noticed a little drift on the left analog stick. Battery life is what it is, about one hour without charge but expect frame rates to drop fast and the system to struggle while running heavy games like spiderman. I really wanted to like it and for this to be my new handheld system. There is still a lot of work to do. I look forward to seeing how much better the technology will improve in the future. This is just the start.

Love the Rog, can handle most AAA game. Only downside is the battery life.

I love this gaming device. It is thee best handheld device ove come in contact with in recent tech history. Theres plenty of customization options for the device and w11 is a perfect fit. If youre a tech nerd like me, this would def be a needed device to play stationary or on the go!

ROG Ally Extreme Z1 I got for my 14-year-old son. It's a game-changer for him. Not only does it have a sleek design, but it also delivers top-tier performance, allowing him to play all of his favorite games without any issues. The graphics are stunning, the controls are intuitive, and it handles even the most demanding titles with ease. He's been playing for hours on end, and the device never lags or overheats. It's the perfect balance of power and portability, and I’m happy knowing he's enjoying a smooth, immersive gaming experience. Highly recommend!

Pretty good device, battery could be better, by default only a 2230 m.2 slot but there are 2280 adapters out there, needs more ram than 16gb, and an oled wouldve been nice, but would get it again regardless

Love the handheld and ability to play my game pass games while sitting on the sofa watching tv or away from home. My only complaint is I think I have one with the SD card issue. Hopefully, it’ll be fixed soon, but I’m not really too worried because I plan to upgrade the SSD.

I really love this thing. It’s the ultimate Xbox Gamepass machine. I ended up selling my custom built desktop gaming pc after getting this. I work at the same desk all day so having the freedom to play games elsewhere around my house feels freeing. It might not be for everyone but it definitely is for me.

This thing is great, i upgraded to a 2tb ssd, plays all games really well, easy to set up and play, plays every game i throw at it perfectly.

So far im very pleased, its everything i expected out of a windows based handheld. It plays diablo 4 no issues, armoury crate is better than i expected, and its pretty comfortable in my hands. I can see where someone whos not very tech savvy might have some issue getting everything setup, but for someone who plays pc games and messes with different handhelds it should be no issue.

Ton of potential but really just not refined enough at all for a release should have been delayed.i understand that it will take time for game optimization and launchers to update to function properly but Jesus this thing is just a buggy disaster even with basic functions within armory crate and windows itself they did a terrible job software wise getting this ready for users. It’s been hours of updates and restarts buttons not working having to reset and update to get core functionality back, not to mention brand new $700 handheld and the RB is flat pressed in s d barely clicks just not on par with the steam deck when it comes to support and being ready for users. Sad because when you get it going it outperformed it in every title. Will give it another week and if not forward progress it’s going back to Best Buy.

Works on any game, the screen looks amazing and the controls are great too

Took a few hours to set up just like any other laptop would take. I have the ROG m16 laptop so a lot of the software quirks I’m used too. Games run smooth within expectation, screen is amazing,120 hz is very nice. Can’t say enough good things hardware wise but definitely needs some useful software updates from windows and asus soon. Overall great first handheld gaming device

This thing is great! I haven't played anything that pushes it yet, and most of the games I will play on it won't, but I can now catch up on older games that I missed out on that were available on older consoles that are now only easily available on PC. The main issue I have is the battery life. It isn't great, but I play primarily plugged in. Other than that, I love this thing!
