For the most part this is a great handheld gaming device, bought it to play Starfield since my SteamDeck couldn’t play it well. Plays games well and great quality. The reason for 3 stars is the build quality and functionality of the buttons and triggers. Playing driving games or driving in games is difficult the triggers are bad I have to press so hard on the triggers to go full speed since it’s not registering. My A button has gotten stuck down a few times I’ve had to wiggle it free. Other than the issues the system works great.

It's cool just wish it had better battery life and more power

Absolutely blown out of the water by the performance of this little machine. Couldnt be happier with my purchase. I was skeptical about getting it because i've had the steam deck and it was just ok. But after getting the ally everything has been playable on-the-go or even just relaxing on the couch.

These things are great. You can play anything. Windows pc does it all.

Excellent system, practically a mini Windows computer while still rocking an amazing graphics card. I use Xbox Gamepass for Xbox achievements a lot, which this is perfect for. Combine that/Windows/Steam/etc, what more could you ask for in a handheld? Compatability with a TV and wireless mouse/keyboard, which this does also. Win/Win.

Great for the price with full windows access and pretty good battery life. The screen is great as well.

Powerful, easy to upgrade ssd to 2tb, and portable

I love playing my games on the go my only stipulation is that it has a hard time running big games and needs to come with much more storage out of box, you can purchase and install a bigger ssd but I feel for the price it should come preinstalled

Really enjoying the Ally. Got everything updated and it's running smooth. Battery will last between 1-1.5hrs depending on game and display settings. I normally have it plugged in or have a battery pack on the go. I play destiny 2, Forza horizon, jedi master ( on low settings) on this device. Very pleased with graphics and display.

This device has made my gaming much more accessible and I've been fighting my wife over which of us gets to use the thing.. I recommend getting a Bluetooth keyboard & mouse though - it can be quite awkward to set up unless you've got good windows experience Very good for what I need it for: a switch that can run my steam library

Surpassed my expectations highly recommended only issue is the battery but thats expected no real complaint

This thing keeps impressing me. First, yes it plays games. It plays Starfirld with zero issues. Forza like a champ. What I didn't realize fully is that this is a full on computer too. Attach it toa docking station and it is like a laptop . Well worth the pricetag.

Been a great handheld console while toddler has tv

Amazing handheld PC. Infinitely better than steamdeck as well as any other handheld windows machine out there. Ordered new Ally X because i was so impressed with and enjoyed having the Ally Z1 Extreme.

Throw guy lie allows me to play computer games on the go. It feels comfortable in the hands and has dynamic sound a picture. The only downside to this machine is the battery life. I recommend getting a discounted version or buy it on sale.

I went from a steam deck to this and I love it. It can play almost any game that I throw at it with reasonable expectations and frame rates. As long as you acknowledge what this system is and do not go in expecting it to change the world you will be more than satisfied. It is basically a small, lower end, portable gaming PC.
