As a truck driver I absolutely love this thing. I’m constantly on the go and on the move and rarely am home. With this I no longer have to struggle with bringing my counsel back and fourth to my truck. This I just toss it in my bag and can play the games that I play with ease!

Pros: portability, adaptability, power, windows 11. Cons: battery, only 1 usb c, upgrades, wondows 11. If you dont understand why i put window 11 for both then you might not want to get the device.

Window is the way to go for handheld IMO. This is a major leap for gamers and i would reccomend to any on the go gamer. Battery life could be better but buy the upgraded black one for that.

I received my Ally and took my time to set it up. It is a powerul device and i connected the 6850 XG Mobile - WOW - this is a powerful machine and exceeds the PS5 and XBOX Series X. There are a lot of updates to complete so patience is important. Once it is fully updated the experience is great. This replaced all my consoles

Excellent if you have computer knowledge. I bought an open box for 150 off and it was like new, this thing is amazing. Took some messing around setup was probably an hour after updates and everything. Highly recommend this open box deal to anyone that wants one but doesn’t wanna spend 700

My unit had no problems except for the static noise issue. Software experience was rough at lunch but has been slowly improving. Takes quite a while to set up and get used to it , but its worth it for someone who wants to play PC games on the go.

It works. It has random issues in typical ASUS fashion. Displays won't work using a Lenovo dock. Connecting an xbox controller may or may not work if you keep the joysticks enabled. Don't accidentally turn off the controller mode when touchscreen isn't on. If you don't have another input device connected, you're going to be incredibly annoyed. Turning it on/off is not the most responsive. I have to try a few times sometimes. The sticks are way too sensitive. The entire experience might be better if the sticks didn't feel like it was on skates. Other than these faults, it runs games pretty decently. Again, typical for ASUS.

A windows 11 machine for the kids starter computer, gaming and built in controls. plays alot of the games my kids play. fortnite, roblox

One of the most excellent and well built portable pc gaming console to date, this little beast can run almost every game that has compatible drivers at it and it can run controller friendly games with ease I purchased the 512gb z1 extreme version and I have been addicted ever since the first day

Great system. Runs all gam well and allows for me to play games while traveling to kill time and make traveling more enjoyable.

Absolutely love it. I have not found a game that it can not run yet. Runs Genshin Impact wonderfully and Payday is a joy to play as well as Binding of Isaac and many others. Well worth my money. Not to mention the looks of it. When I am out and about, the number one thing people say is "What is that, it looks sick"

I was tossing around this or the Steamdeck for a while. I went with the Ally because it will basically do it all. If you're familiar with windows, you'll be fine with it. Having Game Pass was a bonus because i just signed into my account and got access to games right away. Emulation on this thing is top notch too.

Very nice device, took a little knowledge to set up but nothing major. Looks super crispy even at 720p on some games. SD card is still working for me. Sticks are a bit loose but it’s only a problem with fps for me.

Works great. Open box item in perfect condition. The only issue I have is Armoury Crate isn't the best software but it gets the jobs done.

Debated with myself for a while on whether to pull the trigger and get a Rog Ally, and I can’t say that I have been disappointed. Not a big windows person myself so wasn’t sure if it was for me. Would definitely recommend buying even if sitting on the fence about it. You can’t beat gaming while on the go!

Although the product does have it issue do not fear ASUS WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN !!! Set up is a headache but once everything is configured it works great, hardware is stop on software….ehhh

What a fantastic handheld this is. All you need to be prepared for is to tinker a little with the power and the fans. Im playing full fifa, spiderman and cyberpunk on the go. And when you are home plug it in to your tv set to turbo and play at even higher quality/FPS. This is a winner.
