I’ve loved the system so far. It has a couple of hiccups here and there but that’s to be expected with any new system. I’m able to run Diablo 4 on med settings at about 60-90 fps

I really liked owning one. The only issue for me was the battery was so short. Otherwise everything else was pretty sweet. I owned the Lenovo Legion Go and I'd choose this one instead.

Basically useless unless you’re going to keep it plugged in. For traveling where you will have a plug this works great. Plays any game I’ve tried.

I love this device. Can play most AAA games you throw its way. I love how the controls feel and how it fast the system is. Love that it has an SD card slot and that its a computer and you can put other OSes on it if you wanted to.

I have a love/hate relationship with this device. Up until the DAY AFTER my last day to return, I was really enjoying the Rog Ally. I work in IT and was well aware the updates, etc that needed to be done BEFORE using it. No issue with that at all...it is a handheld Windows PC. However, there is a clear issue with it using SD cards.If I leave my SD card in the device, the Ally performance cripples. Bear in mind, not everyone is experiencing this issue, but a number of people are. Asus is currently investigating the issue, but his is still very frustrating. I hope figures it out, but I believe Asus should have keptv the Ally "in the oven" longer.

Needs a lot of tinkering like a full on pc because it is a pc. Not a switch that's ready to play and a console like experience. Once set up tho it is amazing. Amazing graphics and framerates for what it is. Hoping to see 3rd party support like the switch and more optimizing from all of Asus, Windows, and AMD

This beautiful piece of machinery has a wonderful 1080p screen that has to be seen to be believed. Battery life can be extended with some research and patience. This is the perefect compliment to my gaming laptop. I highly recommend this product for portable pc gaming.

Great gaming handheld for on the go. Has been my daily driver for a few months now. I get to bring with me my favorite PC games, some are even AAA titles. Batter life could be better but with its powerful processor, that is understandable.

I love my ROG Ally. I use it as a gaming handheld and I also connect it to a dual monitor set-up to complete more work related tasks. It's a great device with lots of uses beyond just gaming.

My partner loves it. If you are a person that keeps things updated and love pc and how things work then this awesome. It can handle playing triple A games but with some setting changes. But that is what my main set up is for. This is more for I want to lay in bed and chill.

This thing is AWESOME. Experience at Best Buy was great as always. I can run literally any game I want at good quality, all on the go. I bought a dock to go with it and it’s my main PC now. Totally recommend it.

A lot of bad reviews from people that dont know how to operate a windows handheld. You will need some experience with gaming PCs to have a smoother setup. This is my 4th handheld, each one getting a little better. This device has minor flaws ime but extremely good for being just released. Highly recommend!

Really fun to use my only gripe with it is im scared of using the sd card reader cause all the reviews ive seen on it have had bad experiences so i just upgraded the ssd instead problem solved

Got interested in getting another gaming console after buying a steam deck. Saw this and thought why not!! ASUS is kinda terrible, really buggy when I was trying to set up an account, and also just really tedious to use. Not to mention the defects that came out the box. SD card reader was broken when I got it, a defect thats been pretty widely documented, with the chance of destroying your SD card if you aren't careful. Had to send it in to get it repaired which took 2 weeks, doesn't even come with a case. Honestly I'd never recommend this to anyone, buy a steam deck

Gave as a gift to my daughter. She loves it. She can play all types of games on it without having to switch consoles back and forth. Screen quality is top notch! Surprised by just how good the speakers are. May be better than her gaming laptop.

This is an awesome machine! I’m used to playing the series X but having this has opened up so many possibilities with having access steam and psn for exclusive titles as well! It Ran death stranding with Really great visuals and no frame drops, while walking around my house room to room.

Great device overall, if you can put up with windows. Windows 11 is extremely frustrating to use on the ROG ally, or any handheld pc for that matter. but everything else is great.

Its too early to judge it by its flaws because theyre all fixable through software updates but the potential is there and its easily one of the best gaming devices ive ever used. What definitely takes a huge win over other handhelds is the screen! Beautiful display at 120 hz is a huge accomplishment

The power and screen are worth it if youre coming from a Steam Deck. Youll have to tinker a little get and familiarize yourself with windows 11 but worth the orice after initial setup. Unfortunately had to return mine due to life circumstances but i was smitten with this thing when i had it.
