Windows 11 is extremely frustrating to use on the ROG ally, or any handheld pc for that matter. but everything else is great.

Works best for someone that is familiar with the nuances of PC gaming and eilling to tinker . Overall, it delivers on what it offers and will likely only improve through updates and further refinement by ASUS.

FANTASTIC PC GAMING SYSTEM!

The screen is vibrate and the controls while playing games are thr selling point when co workers realize "thats not a Nintendo switch is it?"

I have been able to run almost every game I have on my PC around medium settings, setup was updates after updates. It after everything I have no issues. (You do need to know your way around windows and all it’s bugs)

Aside from the battery getting drained easily but it is really not an issue for me since i can just plug it or use a power bank. When it comes to storage, upgrading the SSD is very easy (im not a techy person). It is worth every penny.

Its even prettier in person! ;-) This is the absolutely perfect device when away from your console or PC. For me and probably many male players the size is so key! Not only for big clear picture that is less strain on my eyes as opposed to my phone.

Awsome handheld computer that can also dock and become a desktop computer with an Amazon dock and some peripherals. Edit: Bought my wife one too! Now we can game together.

Cool little machine, but ssd wasn't 512gb.

Otherwise, it's a decent unit. It's a little overpriced, but it's still alright. Asus locking people into their XG mobile gpu's is a real killer, though. Stop being stingy, ASUS, and let us use any eGPU; this would definitely increase the hype for these units.

Compared to the Steam Deck I was using this is hands down the better buy. Not only is it more familiar running on windows it runs so much smoother than the deck could hope to.
