Great product. Specially if you can mess with the setting it'll run even better.

Great device, able to play games smoothly as well as emulation which is why I was looking for.

If you like to tinker with tech, this thing is awesome! It's fun, runs most new games with controller support, just what I expected. Not for someone who doesn't like to tinker with tech as there is some minor jankiness.

Great steam deck depending on if you want to be able to play steam games and games that require window with out having to use a micro sd card or install a dual boot system on the deck

This small gaming PC is fantastic, provided you don't dwell on the cost; you'll adore it. Just be sure to follow the instructions to make some adjustments for better battery life, and you'll be all set.

From the moment i opened the box, i knew i would love the ally. Its perfect for someone that wants to pc game but also travels a lot. The versatility is huge being able to hook up a docking station and any other accessories you could want

The ROG Ally is an amazingly versatile platform. Running the full version of windows allows all the OC game stores to run. This feels like a worthy successor to the PS Vita in the power handheld market. The Switch just didnt have the power to software flexibility to cover the gap.

I love this handheld. it's like having a PC in your hand. The graphic is out of this world. i never had a handheld like this. I would recommend this to everyone i know that likes video games on the go. The only issues is the battery you need to have a backup battery pack.

I've had this for about 4 weeks. Great system that at first felt a little complicated, but now it's super easy. It's not just a console, but basically a gaming PC in the palm of your hands. I bought the HUB to plug the unit in and then use HDMI to connect to the TV. I play Starfield, Halo, and many other games. Starfield I've got running at 40 - 60 fps on medium graphics setting which looks much better then those playing on the Xbox. The best thing about this is you can play Xbox games and Steam. Just make sure to get an Xbox controller which I find aligns really good with this. If you are a gamer - note PS5 controllers will not work with Xbox app - although will with Steam (I learned this after such a headache not understanding why it wouldn't work despite being synced). I highly recommend this - it's terrific.

It works well as a mini computer. Some gaming is not as seamless as I would like due to setup required but that might be the games fault not the system.

Perfect for traveling. Makes a great substitute for a console when on vacation or visiting family for the holidays.

Solid. Not as bad as i thought it would be setting up. It does take about an hour with all the updates. Handles most everything at playable frame rates. Fan is a little loud when plugged in. Overall pretty happy with it.

Good handheld to play game around your home. It's can play almost games at 60 fps, but weak battery. Average 2 hours.

Bought this because it was displayed as the bigger one (more battery and better processor) but got the older one. Then cashier signed me up for a credit card and explained it to me it was like klarna ( or one of the others) got it home was excited to play it (on the go) and found out you have about a hour of gameplay and it’s basically dead… only way to play it is to be plugged in all the time and with the cord it comes with not any other because it’s too slow of a charger. Returned it before 7 days was stuck with credit card.

If your know your way around wondows and okay to experience some occasional bugs here and there then it is a great handheld. Definitely wait for a sale to buy it though

In all honesty I enjoyed it but I felt like the Lenovo legion go was a better option imo it just feels more like a computer than a handheld gaming console even though the ROG ally has many great features it also has many issues “sd card slot overheating” to mention one it still can be the perfect handheld device for some .. I personally enjoyed the software if used over the legion but the legion just feels like a whole computer in comparison and power is worth the $

So.... i own a steam deck and also bought this too... the biggest thing that stands out for me is the screen. It is comfortable in the hands but i also do love being able to have all launchers in one place with no issues.

Came on time and ive had this asus rog ally z1 extreme for almost 4 or 5 mouths and it is a amazing system pkays everything i want i play helldivers 2 with it all the time at 1080 great handheld would recommend
