Incredible device. I installed a 2TB SSD. I am currently playing Bioshock Infinite at 1080p with everything set on ultra, getting 120FPS. One of the most innovative PC platforms in the last decade. Five enthusiastic stars.

Best gaming handheld, hands down. Havnt had the sd slot issue, but then i havnt needed to use it. Has plenty of space for me. Runs my games smoothly as well

I enjoy being able to play most my games on steam with the rog suppporting the windows 11 letting me do what im able to do on my pc as well its great for traveling as well

A great device with some initial set up pains. My main issue is the battery life, which is incredibly low. Also, be careful and read up on possible SD card issues.

The thing is an absolute powerhouse, I'm able to run anything I want with pretty decent graphics, it really makes me want Sony to release a actual PSP in the form of a handheld like this.

A really portable PC only problem is that it get really hot. But is more for a shooter game. RTS games play nice like StarCraft 2

The ally has been absolutely fantastic, and aside from windows issues has bed without problems. The internal memory is sufficient for a few AAA games and plenty more. It runs Dying Light 2 with no issues.

Amazing like gaming PC- it’s like a gtx 1060 on the go. I’m very impressed by it.

I think the specs on this are amazing and I do enjoy gaming in it but the technology is not there for battery life. It almost negates the idea of being handheld. Only con but it is a big one.

Out of all the handhelds, this is the one you need to purchase- it has the best performance of all of them.

Amazing device, had a issue with my first one and had NO issue returning it for another at Best Buy. They made it easy and smooth. The device itself is nice, love the RGB lights and the overall size and weight

I dont get to play like I once did but having this make its easier. I can put it away fast when the baby is crying. Then pick it back up later.

I am very happy with the product. It runs almost every game. It is a fun device for me and my son. Perfect for not only game also for daily simple tasks instead of a desktop or laptop.

Ally fills the gap for me from sitting at my computer to being able to continue my games on the couch or bed when im tired of sitting at the computer desk. Definitely has its place for me.

A lot of issue surrounds ally since it came out but mine works flawlessly! People should remember that this is a mini pc so a litle bit of tinkering is needed. Would highly recommend for someone who likes gaming on the go

My time with the asus ROG Ally has been pretty solid overall, the screen is incredible, the power on this little device is impressive, but the ui is glitchy, windows is a mess with a portable device like this, and overall this just has me wishing i was playing on a gaming pc/laptop instead. For the price of this, you could easily build a pc or even buy a gaming laptop that far exceeds the performance, while also being useful for other non gaming tasks.

I've had the steam deck and purchased this and sold the deck. This thing runs windows flawlessly (as flawless as windows could be). The vrr screen is fantastic and it's an emulation giant!
