This little computer is amazing! Gaming it blows the steam deck out of the water due to versatility of windows. Definitely upgrade that ssd to 1tb as soon as you get it.

Love this device. Replaced my Xbox Series X. Hoping to get the Ally X soon.

Takes a little while to update initially but once complete this thing is amazing. It’s been able to play every game I’ve thrown at it so far.

Pretty powerful and useful handheld once properly set up. I’m sure a lot of people would rather unbox it and jump right into it. But if you’ve got a little patience, there is a great payoff.

Great for on the go. Will need a nice 100w power bank for longer use more than an hour if on the go. Plays just about any game that is available for PC or Xbox.

Absolutely wonderful handheld PC. I have had 0 issues running anything at all. Most games run well over 30 fps, even with settings higher than minimums.

Fantastic product, it’s my daily driver, it’s played anything I’ve thrown at it.

This has been one of my most favorite purchases. I have opinions on Windows but the benefit of being able to easily install different game stores and play any game outweigh any other frustrations. I did upgrade the storage immediately to a larger drive, which was pretty easy but depending on what games you play you may not need to.

Best handheld in the market right now. Steam deck started the trend but the Ally knocks it out the park. It leaves me wondering if it could get any better than this. Either way I'm excited for the future of gaming.

I have had 0 issues that others have had. This little piece of equipment is great. As long as you don't expect it to run AAA games from 2023 on this thing at 60FPS I can't imagine you wouldn't be happy with this.

Its a really good small portable computer to playing games on.

Nice for travel. Some games require WiFi, so not completely off grid. Nice resolution. Had to get a higher SD card for storage.

The ROG ally is an absolute MONSTER! I use it for work and gaming. It's the best Handheld console/PC. I've been able to use it docked and undocked and it's very smooth.

I was waiting for it for a long time, personally I prefer Asus than any other brand, and trust me, 100% recommend it , the best portable console and computer ever.

Have been excited for this thing since it was announced, and have always been a fan of asus products, and it has excelled every expectation, highly recommended!

Very powerful for a handheld device, and worked with every game I used. The only issue is that Microsoft should develop a handheld version of Windows. The storage capacity is little small for todays games.

I can't express enough how much i love this machine, had it for a year already and i theres only a very small amount of AAA games ive had issues playing.

My unit seems to have an overheating problem. On any power mode beaide silent the cpu and gpu are saying they are running at 90c and the unit is extremely hot. This wasnt obvious at first though as the first 3 hours we spent updating all the asus software and windows updates. I am adding a star for ergonomics and build quality though. The unit feels nice in the hands and comfortable to hold.

Amazing handheld gaming machine, runs games extremly well when connected to charger. Without the charger however it is a little underwhelming but is still a great investment for the gamer on the go

I have one complaint and its the battery life. I have already scene 1 other product have a 52whr battery which is awesome. Come on Asus...u can do better!
