First off, I've owned a Steam Deck for over a year now. This device absolutely murders it. It's pure magic, that's all I can say. It's as good as you think it might be.

An amazing system for the price and form factor. I love the z1 extreme and play on it nightly.

Really great to have a powerful gaming pc that you can keep in your bag. Got alot of joy playing games on the Ally on my roadtrip!

Outperforms the steam d3ck hands down. Much more versatile than the steam deck as well as it runs full blown windows 11.

Unlike some people ive have no problems with my ally, love it for when im on the go.. appointments, and basically any another time im out and tring to pass the time.

Small inconveniences but thats what happeneds when you get a fist gen product like this. Still fun to play with.

I also own an asus laptop and it has the same issues, software updates that come with both fixes and new bugs/glitches. Aside from that its a joy to use once you do the same type of setup as any new pc. Be ready to tweak various apps and every individual game to run the way youd like. Id say it took be a few hours over the course of a couple days before i actually played games. Tge software isnt as skoth as using Steam OS but its better than others like the Aya Neo or Ayn Odin.

It’s a good handle device, gets hot but that’s how it’ll be just like a car the motor be hot but it’s cooling and continues to work

I have this since December 2023 and I am surprised with the qulity and the power this portable has. I definitely recommend it!

Performs really nice but just the one problem is just the battery life but I always bring my power bank so its not much of a problem

So far, the ROG Ally has beena great alternative to PC gaming on the go. It is also easy to set up services like Gamepass since it is technically a windows PC

The ROG ally has been a great addition to my gaming collection, it allows me to take it with me while traveling for work, has been awesome on those long rides home.
