I just bought it and it's terrible to give it up for that long

We sincerely apologize for the ROG Ally causing your SD cards to no longer work. This is not the experience we want our customers to have with any ASUS product. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control, testing, and inspections. What you've experienced was not intentional or representative of our brand. Please note that there will be updates for the ROG Ally in the future that will improve overall system performance and stability. Sending the device in for repairs is the best way to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Repairs typically take 7-10 business days, not including weekends or shipping time.

I have not had any issues with my initial unit, and it is a solid evolution across the board from the Steam Deck (which is also a great piece of hardware). For better or worse, it is a Windows device - that means it is capable of running every game a modern PC can, but also sometimes requires some extra configuration or troubleshooting. For example, keeping yhe device updated requires managing windows updates, MyAsus updates, and armory crate updates separately. I sold my Deck and do not regret it.

Really Cool but 1st Gen Product Issues

ASUS has yet to fix many if the bugs so we will see what the second generation of this product brings
