Great PC Console. Battery is very good. Compatible with all Game Clients (I have installed GOG, Steam, Epic, EA, Xbox and Uplay). So far I have zero compliants.

Honestly this thing is amazing! Just want to start with that and end with my reasoning. From opening the package to actually using it, I was thoroughly impressed. The games that I play ( COD MW2, Chivalry, Depth, and Forza) all play great, and allow for a super enjoyable experience. The controls are perfectly placed and I’m so glad the charging port is on top. Honestly do not hesitate to purchase this power house. ASUS knocked it out of the park !!!

This is so fantastic and I love it to play Palworld and it similar in my PC gaming. It is my first time ever using! I recommend you purchase it! Easy travels and carry everywhere!

I love this device it’s fast responsive and portable. I love playing all my offline games on it. Perfect for traveling gameplay. My only complaint is the analog stick core (pole holding the grip) is soft plastic and rough gameplay cut into the plastic. But analog stick core gaurds came in clutch.

Great device but it can be tought to set up and get going unless you have used windows enough. But once set up and with game pass i couldn't qsk more from it. The display is crisp and fast. The sound is amazing. And after about a month of consistent use the triggers and joy sticks are still working great. The only thing to be aware of is there are units that have issues with the sd card reader, but as far as im aware i havent had any issues.

This product is not what I expected it to be, definitely not worth the money, overheats quickly, has a lack of adaptability in most cases and like once mentioned in other reviews batter life is not great at all. I was looking for a device that lasted a decent amount of time and could handle the games I play on a regular PC. I was wrong for getting this, definitely would not recommend to a friend.

Amazing! Super powerful handheld. I’m a ROG fan so this product definitely meets the expectations of anyone who uses ASUS ROG products. For transparency, I also have the Steam Deck Oled (Limited Edition) and I highly prefer the Z1 Extreme Ally anytime I want to get some game time. The Oled Deck is lighter and the platform offers a console-like however, the SteamOS just lacks the compatibility Windows 11 and features that aren’t matched (unless you’re somewhat versed in dev). The only let downs I have with the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme is that it 1/2TB isn’t a spec that’s offered and also, the product was supposed to include a 3 month trial for PC Game Pass but I didn’t get one. This is probably because I purchased it Open Box from BestBuy. Aside from these, I LOVE this handheld and highly recommend to anyone in the market but undecided between the various options out there. If you do get one, I recommend grabbing a 2TB m.2 nvme ssd and run a debloat program to remove the pre-installed apps/programs that run in the background eating up memory.

Im a steam deck ower and was looking for something better. this ROG alley has over shadowed my expectations . I have the Z1 extreme and im overcome with excitement with the way it runs smooth with AAA games with no issues … if you want your bang for your buck, definitely get the $699 one you will not be disappointed. On a scale from 1 to 10 definitely a 10’in my book

If you dont have experience with PC/Laptop Gaming then you will have a semi-hard time with this console. Once you get through the updates and setup it is well worth the price. Only wish they would’ve offered more storage with the more expensive model. The 512GB (475GB usable) is easily taken up with a few modern AAA game titles. Other than that the system is built to handle or be optimized to handle most if not all of your gaming on the go.

Awesome little device. Everything works great. Battery life is lacking but I guess every battery is.

Look im am a gamer to the core, I own everything, but recently I've been getting tired of having to switch back and forth between playstation and xbox and my laptop. I love the games on all my systems and I just want something i can play them all on easley. This solves that for me. All for the price of one console, and i can play whatever i want at home on my tv or out on the go. Definitely worth no problems easy setup just like a normal PC.

Runs smooth under power with AAA titles. Buttons feel good and the device isnt to heavy

I love it! Had to return first one as I preordered and got very first batch. But second one is working great minus a tiny clicking noise in right joystick! Performance is better than steam deck, I willl make a warranty claim later down the road for the clicking sound or replace the joystick myself. THIS IS A PC! Not a console. You will have to play around with settings and stuff to get them where you want for frames per second etc!

It’s good. The screen resolution is amazing . I truly enjoy my games on this. Only thing I have an issue with is how hot it can get and the battery life.

So far so good, 2 months in. Be weary it gets hot when you crank it up to maximum. People say the updates mess things up with the games but also be weary that alot of factors play into it as well. So far zero issues. Card reader works which seems like that rare.
