You’ll have to take a quality and frame rate hit but it’s worth it for the experience

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I love it but the only thing that holds this back is seeing a lot of people reporting failing SD card readers, I have experienced this with my first one so far the second one is ok, seen some people go through 3 to 4 exchanges and they still had that failure happened. Hopefully Asus figures something out soon

Starting out I thought the 512GB would be enough. I quickly realized that I needed more storage, so I opted for the cheap option of a 512GB SD card. I put it in and started installing a game off of steam. Halfway through the install it stopped and the card was no longer recognized. I put the SD card into a different computer and it is now only recognized as 16 MB. The SD reader on the Ally is also now broken. I was OK with this, but now the right analog stick will only move up and down. Very disappointing device. I will be taking in to Geek Squad to try and get a replacement.

I can log into steam and my xbox, and have tons of games downloaded. Only thing, the more games you have, slower the device becomes. Sometimes volume and game has to reboot, minor adjustments that arent the worst, but could be better. Not 100 percent. Maybe I got a faulty one, might need to see if i need to turn in for a new one.
