I love this console/computer handheld. I've used it for everything from gaming to high end emulation to simply reading library ebooks. It is an incredible piece of tech, capable of being hardmodded, and despite the many hours of troubleshooting I've sunk into it/the OS, I can say I wouldn't have it any other way!

I think this handheld is great for its size. It’s kinda hard switching from a beast computer to a handheld from time to time cause the graphics and gameplay but I’m sure sooner or later these will be come beasts in the future. Other than that I think this is perfect if you want to lay on the bed and chill or for traveling.

I really like it. I’ve used it for over a year. It’s been my go to. I don’t even use my other PC anymore. I know there’s a lot of stipulations behind it.

This thing is amazing. I have this and the steam deck and let me tell you this thing blows that out of the water.  It can play Diablo 4 on medium settings at 70-80 fps! I have also tried GTA 5, rdr2 and Cyberpunk. You really can play any game as long as it supports controllers, but at the same time you can hook this up to a monitor,keyboard and mouse, and treat it like a gaming PC if you wanted. The possibilities are endless!

This is the perfect option for mobile gaming. The screen is pristine and if you like working with Windows then this will be easy for you. You can customize the settings of each game to make sure that it runs smoothly. Do yourself a favor and upgrade the storage and get a good battery pack if your not going to be plugged in so the time. Well worth every penny.

I've lost my husband to it! He is obsessed, he plays it all day and late into the night. It works better than my desktop, the graphics are good, and its versitile, basically the best option for anyone looking for a even more portable laptop. Im gonna need to get one for myself when the desktop breaks. It really feels like the future of gaming. The device is great 10/10, I just miss my husband is all!

To keep it short and straight to the point, the Asus ROG Ally is an overall fantastic PC handheld device that comes with the compromises of a first-generation iteration. You will be able to play most of your favorite PC games on the go, you'll no longer be limited to a desk or carrying a gaming laptop around. Setting up the ROG Ally is going to take effort, but if you are familiar with PC gaming you already are used to it.

I upgraded the ssd to have more storage, but otherwise this runs great. My micro sd port doesn’t work well, which is a common problem with this but I knew that before buying.

Having both steam deck and ally ... i am satisfied with both.... i think the ally performs a little better when it comes to triple AAA games .... my small tiny dislike abut the ally is the analog sticks are a tiny bit to sensitive for me but i got use to it ...

I love being able to take my PC gaming on long international flights, but I've found myself using it more than expected when home too. Despite Windows 11 being less than ideal for a touchscreen interface, it hasn't held me back.

There is a learning curve if you haven’t ever PC gamed before and even if you did especially if you havent ever handheld pc gamed before, there is a learning curve. Dont whine, just google search your issue and a solution will come. Windows is hard to wrap around but with due time you will master it. Getting the device from Best buy was my only issue. Definitely better than my steam deck running windows thats for sure!

I love this device! Theres been a lot of times that I wanted to take my PC games on the go! I bought the ROG dock also so that I could plug it up to a monitor when I wanted to game by my wife in the living room, couldnt do that with my desktop pc. Make sure to do all the updates once you get it. It does take a min to get everything set up. But it runs windows so its like having a portable computer.

Great gaming handheld great performance and gorgeous screen

This is an amazing device. Whether it's recent games or retro it runs well and feels comfortable. Hook it tp a monitor and with my BT mouse and keyboard, it works well with Visual Studio and Spyder for development purposes. Only complaint is 512GB fills fast. Already upgraded it to a 2TB SSD and much happier.

I’m very happy with this product. I bought mine refurbished, and it still looks great, and performs well. Strongly recommend if you’re looking for a handheld gaming system. I haven’t had any issues with it, but I would suggest getting peripherals and additional storage as it improves the overall gaming experience.

Great because I can COD unlike the steam deck. Wish battery was a bit better though

I absolutely love this device. This has replaced the use of my Steam Deck on a regular basis. The screen is nice and sharp, the controls are super responsive, and the wifi signal is waaaaay better than the SD. If you pair this device with Geforce Now for streaming, you really can't go wrong (just as long as you have a great internet connection). I've even been using it to play my PS5. 10/10 would recommend.

I have every handheld out there and the Z1 Ally is where it's at. The Lenovo is a close 2nd. Either one you go with you will be happy with. Don't forget to grab a 1tb or a 2tb WD SSD. It's Windows so expect updates out of gate. Also make sure to grab a Jsaux or Skull & Co GripCase.

It's really a beast of a handheld! and at that price, there's no other competitors. There are bugs but similar to the steam deck when it was released, issues will be patched and optimization will further enhance gameplay and battery life
