Windows all ways has background tasks so expect the first 24-48 hours to be setup and downloading time At current time you want to avoid using sd card reader as it’s been dying (possibly hear related, turn fan curve up to help)

ATTENTION: This is NOT, i repeat this is NOT counsel handled. This is a full on PC. If you are not a PC person stir clear. If your are a PC person you will absolutely love this thing. One note to take into consideration, the SD card slot will go out and also the joysticks have lottle resistance. A lottle sloppy, but other than those two things its a BEAST.

The rog ally definitely had some growing pains in the first weeks. But for it being a custom motherboard, a first gen console, custom processor, and running a brand new operating system that is atill being optimized, it has functioned amazingly and has met all my expectations and then some.

Has been excellent for me use it on days I have free time very solid buy!

The initial setup was difficult for me because there was no instruction how to bypass the keyboard requirement. However, after many attempts, I figured how to bypass the keyboard requirement. The handheld is very powerful for what it is. The steam deck is no match for the Asus ROG ally.

My vuddy talked me into purchasing this device because i didnt have a PC to play much games with them. Its got a grat amount of features as in i can hook up my tv/monitor, keyboard and mouse, controllers. Amd its basically a portable PC so i can play my favorite games while laying in bed or on the go. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great Console High Quality High Performance The best Handheld PC 2023!

This product is hands down the best gaming handheld imo. Has no issues. Is lightweight most people think it’s heavy when they see the sheer size of this device but when they hold it they are extremely surprised how light weight it is. And it doesn’t ever get hot to where you would feel it in your hands. I’ve played for 4 hours on this thing and was never uncomfortable.

Getting an open box of this is VERY risky. A lot of the time they are defects or they straight up don’t deliver, BUT when I went In store and got a new one it was like a dream come true. It’s just somthing cool to have especially if you’re comfortable with consoles and have pc friends.

I bought this so I could play a few of my games in my hand when not at home. I absolutely love the device. I bought the WD 2230 Nvme 2T and installed it the same day I got my device. Now I have huge storage and a great handheld gaming device.

Nice and portable, maybe the battery is not the best but I love it.

Sonos work well when they do. Software issues . Sounds nice and has a ecosystem

I'm addicted to using this device. I haven't even been using my PC lately because of it. Completely customizable and it can be used for more than just gaming. The battery doesn't last very long when running a game and some games don't run well at high/max settings but that's to be expected for a mobile device.

I’ve had the RoG Ally since its release and it has really surpassed my expectations. It has run every game that I have tried - including Diablo 4, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Starfield. I’ve hooked it up to external monitors and TVs with no drop in performance. I’ve had no issues with the SD slot and I even swapped out the internal SSD easily.

This is by far the best gaming handheld out right now overall! I literally have only 1 complaint and its minor, im not sure if its just me but the fingerprint sensor doesnt work half the time. Gaming on this devixe is amazing ive played titles ive never thought possible on the go!

Like ppl like to complain about operating system an it being hard to use and its a tad bit glitchy cause it is windows but it u can work a pc u can work this i feel like after i got this PC set up was all worth it the screen and games run beautiful. Its deff more then what i exspected!

This is a great decice I loved the performance I got and it was great during my trips to Florida and the poconos. I managed to play during until I was ready to take a nap. I highly recommend this device

Overall has been wonderful but does have a couple faults. Besides a few crashes specifically in Spiderman miles morales, every game has ran without issues. Love the fact that it’s a whole computer just ready to travel. I would definitely recommend for anyone in the market.
