This is definitely a really great handled for modern players who know how to game with settings they understand to change to get a better peak proformence then a steam deck, yes Some games&Apps will work glitchy or terrible compared to the competition but it’s windows and I’d chose that then the steam deck, even tho i have both.

Overall, i really like it. It functions just like a pc in the palm of your hands. You can still dock it and use it with a external monitor with a mouse and keyboard and you can then have the full pc experience.

The ASUS ROG Ally 7" FHD IPS 1080p Gaming Handheld (120Hz with AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme Processor) is the best handheld game system that I've ever owned. There are no disappointments, only praises to this piece of technology. I hope to see a 4K and/or OLED screen in the near future...

I love this device. If you are a PC gamer that wants your games on the go, this hand held is for you. And if you know what you are doing, it can emulate Wii U, Switch, ps3, Xbox 360, N64 and all the classic consoles as well. If you have the means, and you are a PC gamer looking for some on the go play time, this item will be great for you.

Easy to use and light in the hand plus is very quiet. My only complain is the screen..I feel it should be a little brighter, and of course the battery life sucks, besides that is a wonderful machine.

It is amazing to have in your hands a device that is the same as a PC but in a portable version controls similar to the Xbox. If you are a fan of games, believe me, it is worth it. It only has some bugs but nothing can be fixed with updates

The next handle hands down. I have the Steam Deck so I was unsure about purchasing this, but I'm glad I did. This device runs smooth just like a console.

Not sure if I'm bored or tired of waiting...seems as though EVrY time i turn on the ROG it has to do some form of update. The armory crate is unfinished and kept updating....the fact that it is a windows pc was exciting, except that windows crashed or froze at least 5 times in less than a week. Everything else i could deal with. Not being to STAY in a game or just start straight up made me return the 1st handheld pc that i thought would make me pit down my steamdeck. Oh yeah, having to run steam in picture mode just to launch my other titles seemed backwards and hoop jumping...pass!

Performance is awesome. I set the face buttons secondary functions in Armory Crate to the following to make navigating windows a breeze: X: F11 Y: Alt + F4 A: Alt + Enter B: Alt + R Alt + R is a hotkey for Riva Tuner

Fantastic product at $600. Takes a bit more time (than the steam deck) to set up and update everything but you get better performance out of it. You can’t go wrong with either but the ROG Ally is definitely my choice.

Thoroughly enjoying this device the Xtreme processor upgrade runs amazing able to play anything I want almost . picture a gaming computer with a built in controller, plus the software, very nice device all in all. Do your research before purchase is highly recommended IMO. Able to run emulators, play Xbox, etc etc and so on, had to actually upgrade to this as a replacement as my original was only the regular model and it had a bad right hand trigger, replaced and upgraded, all in very happy with my purchase as of now. I cannot stress enough the need to research this product before you buy if your not familiar with computers or at least windows 11, knowing how to set up PROPERLY is a necessity with proper downloads updates and bios files for the device, asus offers awesome instructions as does you tube.

I Love my ROG Fortnite graphics are AMAZING I dont mind i only get about 30min of gameplay i set it to Turbo thats why depending on the game you play you can get more time out of it.

This is the best purchase I've made in my 33 years of life. With this beast I can play Hogwarts legacy, red dead redemption 2, no mans sky etc from the comfort of my couch or bed. Have been playing on it daily for little over a month and it hasn't had a problem yet.

got my asus ally yesterday, tried all the settings, all the possibilities of this little monster! it's incredible! I love it, thank you thank you thank you! I've never written a review in my life, but now I can't. guys, if you understand the settings, you can make yourself whatever you want out of this candy! definitely to buy !

The ROG ally is the best handheld pc for far (even if the legion go has more resolution). The software development have improved this pc since it was launched, gaming performance, desktop mode and features were improved during this months. This is the perfect time to buy one!

More than fulfilled my expectations. Great device for any one who likes playing any types of games. Absolutely love this device and I use it daily. The only draw back is the battery. It's battery last between 1.5 to 2 hours when playing graphic intensive games but internet consumption and video viewing is at least 2 that.

Im 3 days in to the journey with this beautiful creation. As a PC gaming/building enthusiast, and a PC Tech for career, I LOVE this machine. A little patience as it IS a full PC, isntead of an "overly friendly" propriatary device, it works beautifully and can see this easily replacing a desk/laptop of similar performance.
