Sure its powerful and is a handheld computer that can be docked and hooked up to a TV/Monitor... But there was no offical dock on release (doesnt come with any accessories, besides a charger). The official case thats sold separately doesnt fit the charger either, I left a poor review for that too. 512GB of storage is not really acceptable, cost another $200 if you want to upgrade and doesnt seem like many people are having a good experience doing this either.

Loves it. Unfortunately the sticks stopped working in the Y axis and need replaced. This is after 6 months of use.

So I got Rog as a Christmas present and this handheld is a beast! It’s made gaming so much easier and the best thing is I’m able to take it to work with me and game in my downtime. Highly recommend this to any gamer.

I love it alot i at first wanted a steam deck and was gonna buy it but my money ran out so I waited and decided after seeing this to buy it to match my laptop and I can say with assurance that this is one of coolest purchases I made value is definitely there so if your in the market for a handheld this is it

Amazing feat of technology, it truly feels like I’m holding a nasa computer in my hands. I can play any AAA game I want whenever I want. I’ve used Asus for a while and I’m very impressed by the ally, thank you so much for making this amazing product!!!!

This thing is pretty powerful! I'm a steam deck owner and now ROG Ally. I haven't had any issues with it at all, but it really slurps down that battery when you boost up the wattage. The interface is great, and they've done an excellent job in making the usability awesome - after updating windows of course :)

Wasn't sure if i was making a mistake or not picking this up but even now, 1 month into using it, I still do not regret getting this and i dont think that i will. Runs everything I've tested really well and it's been nice being able to have a nice mobile PC.

I don't even touch my computer anymore. I barley even use my gaming systems. This has changed my life and i am so happy i bought it. Best purchase I've made in years!

Pre ordered this and received on July 13th. I had it for about two weeks and the Left Joystick started loosimg x and y axis. It completely stopped moving Left and Right soon after. I looked up the issue, and it seemed to be a common handful of folks experiencing this. I will not discredit ASUS or Best Buy as they were great in understanding and exchange for a new one under ASUS's warranty. I took it to my closest Best Buy and exchanged, new one is working flawlessly. As a Onexplayer 6800u, and Steamdeck owner I can safely say Ally won this round. Onexfly is releasing soon with a 7450U which is similar in power to the Z1 chip.....but for $1000+ USD. Get the Ally if you want a handheld PC at this time. It wins in the power dept as of now and you can enjoy 99% of games in 1080p 30-70 dps in maxes settings! I have a manual OC mode with maxed fans and it hovers mid 60c! Armory crate overlay is very easy to use also. Even if you are a Steamdeck owner it's something to think on. I also threw in a 1 TB micro sd with 150 read and its max speeds all the way.

It's amazing just make sure you get an m.2 SSD card up to 2ttb and an external battery pack check out YouTube videos for more details on enhancing your experience!!!! I use mine as a portable gaming device and as a 2nd pc.

Was worth it, fun gaming device on the go or you can just chill on the couch and game and relax great for single player games.

I have had no issues playing and using this device while traveling. I have taken it to LANs and to work to game. Solid purchase i love it. Make aure to get the Asus dock charger and snag a bluetooth mouse. If you want to MKB, but if you like to use game controllers it will work just fine

Such an amazing handheld. I have owned a few and this one is amazing! I use it for streaming games, I use it for word processing, and I use it for local gaming! Works flawlessly with XBOX gamepass and is works really well with PS Remote Play and PlayStation Plus!

This is a great portable.It seamlessly plays windows games.Has 512 of onboard memory with the ability to upgrade internally or just buy the card.This is an excellent purchase for someone who needs power an plays games or the go.It’s so versatile I don’t have enough time to tell you it’s abilities.

A decent device for streaming from a more powerful machine, but terrible battery, life, and poor performance due to the higher resolution screen.

Probably the best cost-effective handheld console at the moment. Great ergonomics and software optimization. Only couples of caveats, sd card coocker and expensive external gpu options.

Absolutely fantastic machine ! I’ve had 5 as of now and I love the Rog ally with all my heart it’s just that dang SD problem and the overheating, love this thing just wish it was safe with the SD and Temp :/
