Best Windows handheld for the money.

I have not had any SD card issues. Anyone with a history of PC gaming will feel at home or atleast not get as frustrated. I did not find the Ally difficult or lengthy to setup. Optimizing/customizing? That took forever, and that is not a gripe, but more of a hats off to ASUS! The support has been good the updates that most of us questioned ever happening? Have Happend! The ROG Ally can be as battery friendly as you want. It can be as monstrous as you want to with no pointless caps on power and battery like the competitors. Great job ASUS!

I got nowhere near 8 teraflops while on 45w while plugged in. The screen isn’t bright enough outdoors. The batter only lasts 45-50 minutes on 25w turbo mode. Most games aren’t playable under 25w. Honestly it felt like a standard Ryzen apu. 720p / 35-45 fps.

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It’s a great little portable gaming machine but for this first generation has one big flaw and that is the sd card placement unfortunately mine burned within the first 13 days of owning the device so if that’s something you can deal with I would recommend but for now I will just pass until a new model comes out
