I feel they are way too loose and wobbly. Asus has done a great job supporting this thing. I boughtt mine nearly 4 months ago open box. Haven't had any issues I couldn't solve. Many say the SD card slot fails, but mine has yet to fail, and it has been used nearly 5-6 hours a day for tthe entire 4 months.

I originally wasn’t sure if I was going to keep it, yet ended up loving it. I think that improve everything and then some in the ally x. 1 tb is the sweet spot on that.

Between the power and versatility i give this device 5 out of 5. Yes it can be daunting for someone unfamiliar with these kind of devices, so i recommend this device for the advid gamer, but i feel like with all the videos online theres no shortage of information that could allow anyone to get accustomed to this device. I really enjoy this device. This device goes great the rokid max ar glasses. These are basically a person display for your eyes. I also added a 2tb ssd by replacing the other ssd in it.

Game will continuously crash game after game. I’ve had mine for about 4 months now. Save your money and wait until ASUS can produce a quality hand held, other wise just get a steamdeck. You might regret your purchase after trying so hard to like it. The battery life is also terrible. Defeats the pupose of a hand held.

If you are unable to play Warzone and other high-end games and experiencing stability issue with the device, check if Windows, drivers, BIOS and games are up to date. Updates for the ROG Ally are posted at: https://rog.asus.com/us/gaming-handhelds/rog-ally/rog-ally-2023/helpdesk_download/. Additionally, check if you are running the most current Armoury Crate utility software. The most current version is available for download at: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury%20crate/helpdesk_download/. While accessing cloud games or web applications, please ensure the device has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor and unstable internet connection will affect system stability and performance. Keeping the device always updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "MyASUS" utility software or application. As someone who has played quite a bit on the steam deck, I much prefer the ROG Ally. The controls are quite comfortable, and the processor can play most of the games I threw at it at reasonable FPS. Playing Final Fantasy 14 online was a very enjoyable experience.
