Qa team over at asus you're fired

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice item faster than steam deck however the asus qa team should be fired all of them fire the janitor fire all of them...of course the as card slot quit working I'd send it in and be forced to go months without what I paid for.... but the. It would just die again so what's the point? Pretend it doesn't have an sd card slot

It’s a Windows 11 device so it’s not very user-friendly. If you want something that’ll allow you to simply pick up and play, choose the Steam Deck as an alternative. The Ally has many software issues than will hopefully get fixed in the future. This device was definitely not ready for launch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friendPerfect mini pc but it can get “spicy”

If you expect xbox ease of use this is not the game pad for you. If your used to playing on a PC then you will manage just fine.

Questions check:
1. SD card brand and model
2. SD card capacity
3. How much storage capacity has been used on the SD card
4. SD card is first time use?
5. SD card worked on other devices after failing on the ROG Ally?
6. Thermal profile usually used > Silent / performance / turbo / manual

I recommend buying the 65W Anker charger.

SD card reader died and almost killed my SD card. Luckily my SD card is fine and it's just the ally... I got a refund for mine, Asus hasn't even announced the issue/cause so idk. I had other issues too just the nail in the coffin for me. See picture. Hardware failure.
