I've been playing on this console for 3 days, it's a good machine. Coming from a person that had the steam deck for about 8 months i can say that some games runs more stable on the steam deck due tp the lowest resolution. but the ROG Ally has keep getting betting with each update. Right now you cab play AAA games on Mod graphics setting between 40 and 60fps let leave at that

Loved everything about it besides the battery life lacking for duration.(Not really a problem for me because I have external battery or its always on a power source) Added items so far Screen protector Dock (steamdeck) keyboard and mouse

This thing is just amazing. I can play Doom 2016 at 60+ fps while on battery and at intermediate Asus ROG battery consumption settings, all while having maximum settings on ultra. I highly recommend this is you want a portable gaming device. It can run Cyberpunk 2077 on high, not ultra high, rather on high, battery set on high settings, at 31-50 fps. It has run any game I've played, and surpassed my expectations. Well done on ASUS, specially for the price.

When it comes to gaming on the go thia is hands down the best choice in my opinion. It provides good visuals and 30-40 fps on mid to high settings. With vrr even 30 fps looks smooth. The battery life is short when playing on performance mode and the system does run a little hit but overall it is mu favorite handheld console so far and well worth the price.

Been using it to game and as a pc since January. Played almost every game on pc gamepass with this. Can play some very demanding games on this with low settings. With a good usb c hub, m&k and 100w gan charger and monitor/tv this device works well as a pc replacement.

A very good PC handheld and competitor to the Steam Deck. The fact that it runs Windows 11 is a major plus to many. Some downsides include limited battery life depending on the title you're playing. And a clunky UI experience due to Armory Crate not being fully integrated into the system.

Great handheld device that can play many games comfortable! You can customize your keys to whatever you need to better help your game play for comfort and speed! Id recommend this to anyone who travels a lot and doesnt wanna always bring a laptop with them to play most the games they normally play on laptop or pc.

Great system. Reason for my 3 stars is the one I got originally had a broken left trigger. And my friends system got a broken SD drive and actually corrupted his card and is a known issue. Overall great system compared to the steam deck, easier to play windows games like Diablo 4 and game pass as eell

4 months in. If you are an experienced Windows user you will have zero trouble navigating this wonderful piece of hardware. Some backend setup is required to make everything fit into to place, but this is an amazing device capable of running RDR2 and many other Triple A titles. Dont listen to others about Windows crippling the device, price for performance worth it.

Word of advice for anyone who purchases one of these spend at least an hour researching and downloading the latest updates and firmware other than that as long as you're accepting of the battery being pretty crappy in terms of life, it's actually pretty awesome

Do not get without a larger m.2 SSD. The card reader is still faulty and will require an RMA to replace. That said, it is the most powerful hand held on the market and is an exceptional piece of equipment when it runs. Cloud Recovery is also really bad.

I have mixed feelings about this gaming handheld. The Rog Ally is a perfect option for PC gamers who don’t mind tinkering and tweaking. It’s not for everyone though, as the user experience frustrations caused by Windows might annoy some. The amount of adjustment you have to do to the settings to get games running nicely also make the Ally struggle for less technically savvy. Battery life is also not a good one, but fast charging helps Ally get back to works immediately.

Sd card issue is still strong but other than that its awesome.
