Better display and more processing power for sure. A little sleeker as well. Comes with the quirks of a windows pc but that was expected. The deck was like a console but not powerful enough. Streamlined but not ready for as much heavy lifting.

Plays most of my library with ease, and has a lot of customizable options to work and tinker your games to what you want. Keep expectations in check though: This thing has a 120Hz refresh rate, but not every game will run at 120Hz max settings. It's a portable after all, don't expect monster level PC levels of performance here.

Storage is VERY limited and expanding it is almost as much ss the unit itself. Runs Very Hot too if sitting in lap. Returned. Good idea. Not readt yet.

While Windows can’t hold a candle to Steam OS when it comes to handhelds, what it lacks in usability and features it makes up for in compatibility. With Windows you can essentially run anything. The Ally has the horsepower to push past Windows deficits and makes for a great little gaming machine.

But i do wish the battery could last a little longer. You get about a hour and a half of battery life before your desperatley needing to rush and plug it in. You can play with it plugged in but its not very convient when your traveling. Overall great product.

With that said it may not be for everyone. If you have a gaming PC then yuu are accustomed to the challenges that come with Windows. If your use to console your better off with a Steam Deck or Switch. This requires alot of uodates, tweaks, and patience. All of which i am familiar with.it is a power house of a system. Exceeded my expectations.

I used to dream of a device like this growing up. Spiderman runs awesome on this epically with frame generation on?

Does it give you 4k 60 FPS Untra settings on every game? No! Does it give you 1080p great framerates and good-great settings? ABSOLUTELY! THIS THING ROCKS!! I plopped in a 2TB m.2 NVME drive and have every game i could want on it! SERIOUSLY, this thing is awesome!! Buy it, you will not be dissapointed!!!!
