If it wasnt for all the windows stuff you have to do itll be highly recommended but its like having a tiny laptop that you really cant do much laptop stuff because its small.

I’ve been wanting to get into PC gaming for a while and the ROG Ally offers a nice solution since I don’t have the space for a full-blown PC setup in my house.

I liked so much and is great but the battery is so bad, I mean in the performance moyd in gta v with high graphics in 720p its like a hour and a half maybe two for me its enough, I just write this because some dudes want to have Best graphics in 1080p an the still want more than a 2 hours of game bruh.

Its great, can run any of the games i play and very easy to use

I loved the device itself. Feels great in the hands, buttons feel substantial and the touch screen was nice and responsive. Ran games super great at max settings for the device, and having the option for all the various launchers AND Gamepass is a huge plus. I just couldn’t reconcile with the battery life and the necessity to buy external battery power to carry around with it and be tethered to. Battery life at max settings is around 90 minutes, so if youre truly being mobile and playing on a road trip/flight, be prepared to have an outlet nearby to be tethered to. Fantastic device but I just don’t think batteries are where they need to be for the experience this device is capable of providing.

Not a console. It's a PC, it's a wonderful product just way overpowered to be called a console

I love that this device can pretty much play any game without issue and has a 120hz 1080p screen. I can look past Armoury Crate bugs and the fact that Windows is not optimized for handheld devices (yet), but the lack of quality control concerns me. I exchanged my first one already due to RGB issues that may have been with the software, and I’m leaning towards exchanging my replacement because of the fans. Some coil whine I can tolerate, but the one I have now almost makes a different type of crackling noise. I would expect better quality for a $700 device.

I like it, I had to buy a backup battery. The device only lasts 1 1/2 hours.. they made a new one and I bought this one full priced.. 2 months later it dropped on price 150 dollars and now I want the new one

nice little portable gaming pc. Battery life is nowhere close to the steam deck and it also lacks the console like features of the steam deck. This will be an excellent devices if windows updates the OS to include a handheld gaming mode.

Loving every second. This device is a beast. Elden Ring, Horizon Zero Dawn, Gears of War. Everything runs and looks so great on this. Ive been recommending this device to my streaming community ever since i got it

this is such a cute handheld gaming computer! i specifically bought this so that i could download an emulator and play all of my old gamecube games i no longer have. i definitely think its an investment that will keep me busy for a while

Works great. Only downside is battery. Games look great and easy to use.

The Ally is absolutely amazing when it comes to portable pc performance. Havent had a single issue with any game ive tried to run on it. I can even install my remote play and ps+ apps to play games from my ps5/ps+ subscription. Having a full Windows OS opens up much more possibilities than the Steamdeck. 10/10 purchase!

Better perfomance than a steam deck, propietary external gpu port is a dissapointment (the rog external gpu is crazy expensive) defied the purpose of more graphic capacity, you cpuld easily buy a gaming laptop for the price of their gpu, but good sytem after all updates so far.

I bought the extreme version from the store floor and it has been absolutely running amazing. I think that it was tinkered with to be optimized at first and it has run literally amazing. Best purchase I’ve made and will get an XG mobile 3080 to consistently run high settings in apex locked at a consistent fps. This thing is amazing

We got an amazing deal at such a great time ! My husband really wanted this system for a while and luckily has been the best thing ever for all his gaming needs and wants. Highly recommend if you’re interested in looking into handheld game console that’s like a PC system.

Exxcellent product, excellent condition as advertised, and excellent customer service from Best Buy. The price was right too! This thing is seriously powerful enough to play AAA games at medium settings at 60FPS and is a dream come true in order to use it as a handheld, or plug it into a dock and tv and use it as an everyday computer.

This is an excellent gaming device! I love that you can access XBOX and PC games without issue. There is a slight delay when playing PS games remotely but its a small price to play from anywhere. Very impressed. I also recommend you upgrade the hard drive to 1TB so best performance.

Product is great for someone who knowe about computers and how to tune their settings. It would be a 5 stars if it had better battery life
