Gave to my son as a christmas gift as we were traveling after the holiday. Spent his free time and on plane playing. He absolutely loves it. He is 21.

Great screen, fast cpu, gou and memory. Not so great battery.

I personally love the ROG ally, as someone who fiddles with pcs. I do understand Asus has there problems, but as long as you're aware of the issues, then it's a solid purchase.

overall this thing is a beast! the extreme version is what I have and ive been enjoying it so much.

it works like a computer, my husband likes it a lot, He even carries it at work.

Extremely satisfied overall, most games i can run at 60fps 1080p on medium to high graphics effortlessly, battery life is a little weak especially on 30w turbo mode i can get maybe 3 hours other than that its great! its light the 7" display is gorgeous overall its my top purchase of 2023!

Very much for PC gamers or people willing to learn how to PC game. If you are looking for a Nintendo switch or console type experience where it is plug n play for a game then look elsewhere. The fact it can need used as a full Windows 11 PC is amazing with great specs. Love these new handhelds that are coming out.

I dont care about battery life, i use it plugged in. You can also get battery charging packs. If you need more space get an SD card. Does not come with a case, find a nice one on amazon. Loads of options for rog ally profiles for games. Love the windows, it takes a bit to set up. Steam and all your game launchers and sriver updates. Got on sale. Was a no brainer purchase at 400 dollars. Would wait until may for the steam OS handheld that is launching if this isnt on sale.

This plays everything! I can play anything in my Steam, Epic, or GOG library. I also installed xbox game pass on it and can play a lot of those games natively on the Ally. Other than the micro SD card issues this frvicr has, its been absolutely amazing.

So far the product has performed well. I'm having a bit of a problem with using a Bluetooth mouse at the same time as a Bluetooth keyboard and i haven't figured out how to use the docking ac adapter plug i bought with the ROG Ally

So far so good. It works like a champ. Dont get the lenovo one. The ram on this helps a lot. Battery life is not like a laptop. So be aware to charge up.

Great little gaming pc; only reason its not 5 stars is the sd card reader. Def recommend upgrading to the 2 tb

The ROG Ally is an awesome device that can play literally everything. The biggest advantage it has over the Steam Deck is that it runs Windows and isn’t limited by its software. Yes, you can put Windows on the Steam Deck with some tinkering, but it functions much better on the ROG Ally. Now, there is a steeper learning curve with this device and it isn’t as user friendly as the Steam Deck, but don’t let that scare you away, there are tons of tutorials on YouTube where people walk you through how to set the best settings for each game. Also, I highly recommend using a manual profile with a more aggressive fan curve rather than the stock Turbo mode. The stock Turbo mode at 30w doesn’t efficiently cool the device with its fan curve and can cause the device to overheat. Once you tinker with the fan curve and lock all clocks for the device at 30w, you won’t have any issues.

Loads quickly. Controls are easy to use on car rides. My kid plays this a lot in the back seat. It has Windows 11 and serves as a laptop when paired with a keyboard and mouse. Legion Go is meant for table top use. It's too big and heavy to hold and controls are too small compared to Ally.

What a wonderful device , absolutely amazing ! Very powerful and easy to handle . Only down side is the battery life , based on my experience thus far , i get around 70 minutes of play time . Other than that , i am very happy with it .

worth it if on sale. Love it and it has handle everything I have thrown at it.
