Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm surprised at how great the ROG Ally plays games. The included 3 month game pass ultimate ensures you'll have games to play before you decide what games you'll want to spend money on. Battery life is a bit short depending on game but it charges pretty fast even while actively playing.

Great performance for the cost
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As handhelds go I love it. I am an over the road truck driver and i play it every day. Graphics comparable to my newer xbox, great ergonomics, nice screen. I love it. Only conplaint is the low battery life but i play it plugged in 99 percent of the time so its no big deal.

Asus ROG Ally
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I enjoy the size, portability and premium feel of this handheld pc gaming device. Asus has continually been pushing updates out to improve the software experience. After returning the Legion Go due to the shoddy software, the Ally is a much better device for gaming on the go.

AMAZING!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive been using this for a good week now and i gotta say I absolutely lovw this thing. Ive had no issues with it at all. Plays my games great but i havent played every game so be warned. I was on the fence about getting a SteamDeck and I saw this was announced so I thought id wait and take a risk and boy am I pleased. I already loded all my games and emulators on this guy and Im happy I went this route. Other than my nintendo switch this is my first handheld pc and I am completely satisfied. If youre like me and are new to this area you wont be disappointed with this device. Some games will need adjusting but unless you have a beast mode PC you might already be use to that. If you dont have a gaming pc already youll be learning how to adjust settings which isnt that hard but watch a youtube video or two and youll be just fine. This is my go to travel companion now and I leave my switch at home. I fly frequently across the US so I have alot of time at the airport to play. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get into the handheld arena. I havent tried a steam deck but I prefer the full windows on my device. No issues and is updated frequently.

Beast of a handheld
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing performance. Can play anything I throw at it. This is subjective, but I much prefer the ergonomics and buttons over the Steam Deck. Battery life sucks but it is to be expected from a device with a 40Wh battery than can reach over 40W of power usage in turbo mode. Would recommend to anyone that can actually use windows.

Best handheld since the Gameboy Color
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is amazing. It is everything you need it to be. It's a portable console, laptop home entertainment system all in one. I do a lot of flying and I love that I can take it with me and use it everywhere. I know the steam deck can do a lot of the same but the Ally is a portable PC. You won't regret buying one.

ROG ALLY; Better than the steam deck?
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Personally i believe the Ally is superior to the Steam Deck in numerous ways. People that just want a gaminf console should probably grt the dexk, but people who want a portable gaming computer should defintely side with the Ally. The screen is so so much better and the better graphics processor is noticeably better as well

After a two-month trial
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great device considering its size and it runs games well, but don't expect it to run every game; it will run most of them. So, as a portable device, I can say it's excellent. My advice to you guys is, if you have a small budget, invest in the X version because the RAM in this device isn't the best.

Love this device
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been heavily enjoying the ally since receiving it. Playing anything I was anywhere is great! I know some people are complaining about windows but i haven’t had any problems personally. Just a tip for some, the back left button and up on the d-pad will pull up the keyboard. Back left button and down will bring up task manager.

Great Portable Device
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was always leary of getting the steam deck since at base it only interfaces with steam. Well this allows me to play everything from Steam, Game Pass and even DIABLO 4 out of the gate!! Battery life is NOT great even at 15w 1080P but i still love this thing and enjoy being able to play PC games on the go or even on my couch.

Overall a very good product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fast and games play very well. Took me a long time to get used to the fact I'm holding a PC in my hands but loving it. There's a lot of little things that the device does not tell you so I do recommend watching "## beginner tips for rog ally" videos. The reason it isn't a 5 is because of two things: storage space and battery life. 512 GB is incredibly small for this device. The way games are going now you can't even fit to COD Warzones in the device. Battery life is also very short. I usually get around 3 hours of game time using the middle options of power usage I couldn't imagine using the higher settings.

A little powerhouse!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we’ve come a far away from things like the game boy when I was a kid. This device is just awesome! I was playing Forza last night really enjoying myself. Then I shut that down and I used it like a Windows device and checked my email and ran my favorite Windows apps for about an hour. Yes, this thing is a beast at playing games, but it also can be a productivity device which I enjoy. Yes there are cons that people mention like battery life which is short! For me, though this isn’t a big problem you kind of know it going in that this is not necessarily going to get you 10 hours at the office, but it’s not meant for that. I would definitely recommend the external optional doc from Asus for this device as they give you a longer cord and the ability to run it through HDMI. Overall, this is probably the best product I’ve bought in quite some time, and it filled a niche that I was looking for.

Great!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The performance doesn't disappoint.Powered by a robust set of internals, games run smoothly with impressive graphics, demonstrating that ASUS didn't compromise power for portability. The display offers vivid colors and sharp details, ensuring that every in-game moment is captured with clarity.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think this is the best handheld pc out there. Although I knew the battery life was horrible, im impressed by everything else it offers. I am truly happy with this purchase. If you are someone who just wants to sit on the couch or has short commutes, I recommend this.

The best PC handheld.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Powerful, compact, and large enough to play Retro, PC, and Emulators comfortably. The ally balanced the Power and Price, yes you can get a slightly faster machine for way more or a slow 720p for less. This hit the sweet spot.

Way better than the Steam Deck.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The title says it all. If youre looking to play PC games on the go, than this is what you want. It can do everything the steam deck does and more. Battery life is kind of meh, but its a litteral laptop that lets you play PC games like its a switch.
