This device is perfect. I had the Steam Deck, and when this came out, I immediately sold my Steam Deck. This decice is better in most ways - the only exception being the battery life.

I can't talk highly enough about this. I have a Switch but ever since I started playing more PC games, I have wanted the ability to continue to play those games when I travel. Now I can put more hours into No Man's Sky when I am away from my desk. This has been the best purchase!

Fun. Agile. As promised. Very pleased. I do get concerned about possible over heating, but haven’t had any issues.

I recommend the ally if u like to have the portability like a switch but like the play PC games I find it comes in handy whenever I'm out and about or if I'm busy doing something at like a DMV or something just connect it to my phone's hotspot and then I can play all my favorite games I can play on my computer

Batteryvlife short ad card defect but O love playing games with usb-c connect to my monitor i am wait for its next iteration

Love this gamer. It's strong point is it's hardware and that it has windows 11. It's weak points are it's battery life and that it has windows 11. I know I know but it's true. Having windows means I can run any game in my steam library. But because it has windows means it can be a bit quirky at times. That being said the lil quirks from windows isn't enough to detract from how great this handheld is. Would absolutely recommend to any pc gamer who wants a handheld. Be prepared to have it plugged in most of the time though.

Works well, but has some issues with using a controller, hasnt worked the past few months for mine, and also has trouble showing up on certain TVs when you use the HDMI adapter. So good for what it is, but can also be fickle and you don't really have a clue why

Runs Baldurs gate 3 with ease, but the battery drains pretty fast on highest settings. Stardew valley runs for about 4 hrs on the lowest setting.

So far I have been enjoying the Ally for the most. Easy interface, not as confusing as it seems and enjoy the fact I can run my emulators on it. Makes for a great handheld console for all things. All the while watching netflix when I don't want to game. Let's be honest, I love that I can dock it and use it as a computer. Pretty much replacing my computer at this point. Only downside is the speakers don't stay consistent. I plug in my own headphones so I don't get the whole crackle when playing games.

Very good handheld computer. I use it for xbox gamepass and it works well for that. Battery life is short, but that was expected.

Great machine. I do wish it was a little less bulky. Other than that, for the price and portability aspect, this machine is great. Plays a decent chunk of old and new games

I went in thinking that this thing is going to stink. But I realize that its not that bad at all. I was terrified that my sd card reader was going die, never did. It plays all my games with great performance. I took one star away because of all the sd readers that died. But fingers crossed that mine doesn't die. My best advice is if you know nothing about windows dont buy it but if you had a laptop in the past you will feel quite at home with this one.

Love this! My wife and I had been gaming on the Nintendo switch for about 2 years. Handhelds is our preference because it allows for us to game with our little one, and we can all sit together. Highly recommend the Rog Ally if you are interested in handheld gaming. This is miles ahead of the switch, and with windows 11 we can play many more games. I have used the Ally for projects outside of gaming, and have had no issues. LinkedIn and Microsoft office both work wonderfully. Hope this helps anyone who is questioning this purchase.

The best and far above the rest. Just like having a gaming laptop. Just handheld. Ive had no issues. Battery life 3 out of 5 stars. I love asus products. No complaints.

This device will allow you to game anywhere. It is able to go from being a powerhouse handheld to a desktop (with the eGPU) teir performance. Try it out.

I bought this and returned it to buy a rog ally x instead. The battery life is pretty bad and the micro sd card fiasco gave me anxiety. At the sale price of $450, I think it's worth it to just get a steam deck instead. Longer battery life, the games just work without tweaking, and you don't have to worry about bad customer service like you do with asus. If you have to have a windows handheld, this one is solid but I would shell out the extra money and get the rog ally x instead. The battery life alone is worth the upgrade.
