I've had the Ally for a little over a week and it has been great. Very easy to use and set up. Windows 11 is a breeze to walkthrough even though they spam you with privacy notices at the start which I recommend skipping. Overall the system runs pretty well and performance is solid across the board. Given time I'm sure ASUS will have this fully updated on the software side with little to no hiccups. Most games will need to be reviewed within their own settings to get the best performance possible.

Great device to use when traveling or just want to couch play pc games. Works great with D4. Great buy highly recommend.

Now whenever j want to okay any if me heavy games that arent in my switch, i no longer have to bring anither cintroller wirhme! Now i can use the native pc apps to play all my games and i can dock the system and use it that way too! Its insane that with some good signal? And access to a powrrbank/outlet and i can play FFXIV in the go! Or if im im the mood for some indie games ill be good all the time. Plus the color scheme makes it perfect for a neutral setup if youre a girl like me!

Played Diablo 4 really well on medium settings. Really cool to run around with a portable pc and use it for other things than playing. For first person shooters, cod, destiny, there is a pretty noticeable latency issue between the display and the built in controllers although for something like Diablo it worked well

I got this open-box price and it is beyond worth it. I use asus for work and gaming now on separate devices. The performance per dollar is insane in this little beast. I was able to play RE4 Remake on Performance PS5-like settings at 1080p with a steady 30fps on the 15watt mode ...... on a plane! Set this up in our Hotel for a work trip and bluetoothed controllers to it. Played the new Mortal Kombat 1 on it!

It’s really great. If you have a hi level of internet. Had to try two different ones just to set it up. After that it runs good. No stick drift at all a the lag is gone in shooting games. Racing game it’s good too reall tight except for the braking but I tuned the car a got that to work. Over all slow to start but great after that.

It’s about what you’d expect from a very small computer. Only thing that truly makes me wish for is the battery life otherwise it’s fine for small games while you travel.

One of the coolest gaming devices I’ve owned. Runs my games smooth. It’s light, feels nice in the hands.

Perfect other than the stupid SD card slot failing and ruining your cards. It runs games MUCH better than the Steam Deck and even when the games dip in frame rate VRR and LFC completely hides it. Other handhelds don’t have this and they suck - trust me. Great sound and a great experience.

If you are grabbing this for you child make sure you feel they have enough technical ability to navigate the sometimes clunky windows experience on a small touchscreen. Performs great on modern games with turbo mode and runs 360 to early xbox one games on 15W. Its really a great experience playing forza at 1080P 60fps on this thing

The ASUS ROG is fast and easy to use. The control layout is great. It fits comfortably in your hands and is light weight.

If it wasnt for all the windows stuff you have to do itll be highly recommended but its like having a tiny laptop that you really cant do much laptop stuff because its small.

Loved everything about it besides the battery life lacking for duration.(Not really a problem for me because I have external battery or its always on a power source) Added items so far Screen protector Dock (steamdeck) keyboard and mouse

Great little device for gaming elsewhere than the living room or computer desk. It has been perfect for frequent business travel. The size makes it easy to slip in anywhere and the weight is practically insignificant. It could have slightly thicker grips for larger hands, but aftermarket parts eliminate that as a necessity. I mostly play plugged in, but it works for ~2 hour flights as well.

Good product, do a clean install of windows, disable services and tasks and optimize windows, not very comfortable to hold, steamdeck is more comfortable, but this has a lot of power for a handheld and you can play and run many games that the steamdeck cannot, this can emulate even an xbox360, great product, would be a 10/5 star if it was more comfortable to hold.
