Quality build, excellent performance, cool factor off the charts

Absolutely love this, after moving back to the states I was without a computer and really missed gaming. This unit allows me to do basic every day tasks and play all my games!

This machine is like having magic in my hands, the speed, the quick response that the joysticks have, the variety of things that you can do such as watch videos, look for reviews for other devices, and other awesome things like its wide storage. Its perfomance cannot be compared with other devices in the same line of products. I really enjoy having it and I don't regret buying it

This is a great system once you get it set up and optimized. Runs some pretty demanding games really well. It isn’t a laptop replacement but in the handheld gaming market this little system really shines. Upgrade the internal storage and pick up some accessories, dock, power bank etc. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials out there that will get you up and running quickly too.

Awesome service and kind agents at the outlet site. I would highly recommend BEST BUY for knowledge and their hospitality service they provide with their products. Asus Rog is a high powered gaming rig with the performance to handle games and other random task for multimedia consumption .The Rog stays cool while under load gaming and the display with audio doesn’t disappoint. 1080p 120hz with VRR! Turbo mode offers the best performance at 30 watts which you need to be plugged in. Better than the Steamdeck in that you know your way around configuring PC and windows. This isnt a console for impatient, "I want it to work out of the box without knowing what im doing" types. Lights are an awesome aesthetic. Controls are nice amd comfortable.

Runs pretty well. Short battery life. A bit of a hassle to set up.

Device is great. I had the SD card error which sucks. Doesn’t work any more. SD card slot lasted about 8 months.

I will preface this review by saying its faults are not the devices or brands fault for the most part. It really is an amazing product, but I wish there was more here. The brand "republic of gamers" makes products marketed towards gamers, but this device is nearly useless in most games without a dock, 100W charger, keyboard, and mouse. In games that already support controller controlls, like stardew valley, ive been having a blast, and for that, I give ROG an A+. ROG themselves fortunately made it possible to customize these controls, but once again it feels very very difficult, and im not saying its ROG, or the devices fault, but the reason i give them 4 instead of 5 stars, is because of the way they marketed the device, and also not giving the option to view games that have controller support. I think ROG can make this product better by packing the device with a 100W charger instead of the 65W, for people looking to dock the device, as well as including software similar to that of operas game viewing programs, specifically filtered to view games that fully support controller controls.

It’s really impressive that this little device will run nearly anything.

Console is good but battery is too short Games look really good.

Ever since this was announced i was hesitant on buying one due to price & if id actually use it since I have a PS5. After about a month I forget half of the time I have a Ps5. I always have my Rog with me. It performs almost every game ive tried to play. Currently playing helldivers 2 check it out. Also the fact its functioning windows makes this my laptop.

I bought this for my husband. Had a couple issuses when getting it set up it didnt want to load my steam or xbox but after some youtube videos got it up and running. Works best connected to wifi but dont have a problem using it without. Planning on buying another for myself.

I got this after having the Steam Deck for eight months. I loved the deck but the problems playing certain games and lack of egpu ability is what made me purchase this and try it. I love it. Its pretty amazing. The battery life is atrocious I will say. Keep that in mind. But overall with how I use this my personal experience is a pleasant one that exceeds the deck.

After 2yrs. I'm still loving mine. Might even pick up the upcoming XBox version that'll be coming out soon.

This device is everything I’ve wanted for a while now I have full access to my Xbox gamepass library including PC exclusives All my games have had no trouble hitting the high fps numbers but I tend to be satisfied with a smooth 60fps for everything in order to save battery life. I’ve managed to get almost 2 hours of battery running it at that between multiple games

It is everything I expected and more. The ROG Ally has made my gaming on the go perfect. Thanks.

Works well, plugged in or not. Problem is the battery only lasts an hour to two depending on what you are playing, and you can count on it being finger-burning hot after about 15 minutes.
