This device is everything I’ve wanted for a while now I have full access to my Xbox gamepass library including PC exclusives All my games have had no trouble hitting the high fps numbers but I tend to be satisfied with a smooth 60fps for everything in order to save battery life. I’ve managed to get almost 2 hours of battery running it at that between multiple games

Console is good but battery is too short Games look really good.

It’s amazing for people who travel often and enjoy video games or movies etc. on their flights. Sound quality is great, it’s light and not strenuous on your hands/fingers. You can also get a case with a built in dock and connect your controller to it, connect it to a tv with no delays. I would highly recommend this to any gamer out there to travels.

This is one of the best handles I have owned since the PSP was around. I would def recommend this if you are something other than a steam deck but note this is a windows device so some tinkering might be needed due to windows being windows. A battery pack is a must if you are playing third AAA games.

System runs great, plays most games at decent fps and settings.

The device excels in playing AAA titles and a wide range of other games. However, the battery life is limited, and the Windows operating system on a handheld gaming console can be cumbersome for non-Windows users.

Absolutely enjoy this so much, it has become my main way to game these days.

Pc games on the go as long as their is a power outlet close because you only get about a hpur of play time unplugged. Which i better then i expected

Previous to this O had a 1k gaming PC. I stopped using it after buying this gem. The main reason is because now that I work from home, my desktop is always busy with my work laptop, so I had to do a lot of changes on my desk in order to play half an hour and ended up not playing at all. People, don't buy gaming PCs, buy this instead.

Way more powerful then the steamdeck, great screen and access to pc gamepass, steam, epic, battle.net etc.

I'm very happy with my experience with this. I did have the issue with the SD card reader failing, but Asus was very easy to work with to have that repaired at no cost to me (I repurposed amazon packing materials to ship it in). One gripe is the battery life is not the best. Maybe 2 hours of play even at 15w setting, but a great experience nonetheless.

I love this thing! Its a tank. No issues. Battery life is small but understandable for the power its pulling

Great device as long as you know what you are getting into Great for pc gaming and emulation as it can pretty much emulate all consoles that have working emulators, again as long as you understand that this is a handheld pc and not a handheld console (meaning you will have to set it up like a pc) I say give it a go The unit I have has no hardware issues.

At the beginning was a little concern of this product but it was at excellent purchase, now I can play on the same games that I have on my Xbox thanks to the play anywhere

I’ve had this for a little over a year already and it’s an amazing device me and my kid use it and for someone who games on pc it wasn’t that hard to get adjust it!

Asus Rog is a high powered gaming rig with the performance to handle games and other random task for multimedia consumption .The Rog stays cool while under load gaming and the display with audio doesn’t disappoint. Amazing purchase, handheld PC gaming made easy and accessible. I get great battery life playing indie games and emulating my old games. Perfect machinr for playing through the first 15 Final Fantasy games (3-4 hours of battery life on all of those games) and even handlea FF16 and the remakes well albiet with ~1 hour of battery. Only other downside for newer games is the limited storage, but streaming games from my dedicated PC tower helps both the battery and save on onboard storage.

I will preface this review by saying its faults are not the devices or brands fault for the most part. It really is an amazing product, but I wish there was more here. The brand "republic of gamers" makes products marketed towards gamers, but this device is nearly useless in most games without a dock, 100W charger, keyboard, and mouse. In games that already support controller controlls, like stardew valley, ive been having a blast, and for that, I give ROG an A+. ROG themselves fortunately made it possible to customize these controls, but once again it feels very very difficult, and im not saying its ROG, or the devices fault, but the reason i give them 4 instead of 5 stars, is because of the way they marketed the device, and also not giving the option to view games that have controller support. I think ROG can make this product better by packing the device with a 100W charger instead of the 65W, for people looking to dock the device, as well as including software similar to that of operas game viewing programs, specifically filtered to view games that fully support controller controls.
