Absolutely love this console. Runs my games flawlessly! Comfortable in my hands too! I have always been a gamer and now I have something to play on when I can't be on my desktop. I did change out the hard drive for a bigger one before I loaded any games because I knew I would want more storage. Was super easy to do!

I play a lot of cozy games and controller works perfect for them. Its full windows 11 and i can download all my launchers and mods, compatible with all file types. There are some games that dont support controller yet that i cant play but for the most part i can play everything. Absolutely love this thing, runs great and allows more flexibility. My store had several open item units for $100 off too.

Excellent hand held gaming. I have a Switch, but wanted to play more mainstream PC games on the go. Rog Ally was the perfect answer for me. It is super fast, load times are very minimal, and graphics look amazing. Windows 11 works surprisingly well with the mini screen and touch interface. Highly recommended.

Ok this thing is powerful, and the XG port makes it worth it even more. This is now my mobile gaming system with an XG dock. It can even play VRChat through Oculus with the XG card. Diablo is running ad med to high in portable mode. Beef swith the system. Got to start this off with the battery life. Its fairly small at 2 hours. Next is windows sucks in tablet and portable mode though I manage windows tablets at my work it's still a pain to use.

I absolutely love this thing. It completely replaced my desk top, wish handheld could reasonablt have more power but for what it is works great. Played all of cyberpunk and it's dlc on it both as a handheld and docked to a TV.

Loving the rog ally! I cant believe 1080p gaming in a handheld natively is now possible. The 120hz display is actually grest looking and the colors are great. Now since this is the first major handheld pc somethings on windows needs smoothed out but thats microsoft to figure out. Easy to upgrade store i already have 3tbs of storage plenty enough for on the go. Nice to know if i wanted to make it my dedicated gaming pc i could with the xg mobile.

The ROG Ally is muc more capable than the Steam Deck, which i sold the purchase this. I have not had any issues downloadijg and playing games from various services, such as Xbox Game Pass, and steam, and battle net. Some people have reported issues with micro sd cards, i have not experienced any isses eith mine. The screen is perfect and varable refresh rate works perfect. My only complaint ia that i havent had enough time to play.

So far it runs games pretty smoothly. I did the updates which is definitely the first thing you need to do. Armoury crate is alright and honestly, it runs as expected on a handheld running windows. I was one of the first to preorder the steam deck and was pretty disappointed more so with the display. The ally’s display is way better and the fact that im not limited to just my steam library is a plus. It’s only going to get better with the updates

My feelings are complicated. On the one hand, graphically it is FAR superior to the steam deck. I had a GTX 1080 on my pc and 12 gigs of RAM, and the steam deck ran better for some games, worse for several. The Ally, especially plugged in, blows both out of the water HOWEVER Set up can be a pain. Switcing apps can be a nightmare It's essentially a laptop with no keyboard, and the onscreen keyboard can be a battle. It restarted or had to be restarted a dozen times when i was setting it up it seems to have forgotten the SD card was there, as others have said it really, REALLY wants me to put powerpoint and excel on the device, since its basically a laptop like i said constantly, pop up windows- especially when buying something on steam- seem to confuse both the touch screen and the "mouse", and i am constantly selecting the window under it basically i buy games from the steam website on my phone, then download via the ally its great for portable plays, looks good on my TV, but it really needs a better interface that stops bombarding me with PowerPoint and MS Word notifications when i am trying to play a game

Truly the best gaming experience. I play ck3 and stellaris on the couch while my girlfriend watches her shows and the dogs lay around loving it. Works great with headphones and the clarity and response is perfect. 10/10

Used mostly for gaming, but can be used for any computer function. Think of it as a gaming laptop that's handled. It plays Reminent 2(with some tweaking), fps with no problems, any scroller or 2d games give that awesome console feel. I use it for remote access into my desktop also. Very powerful little machine. Can connect Bluetooth mouse and keyboard while connected to a TV or monitor. Really pleased with this device.

Best hand-held I've personally used. I just wish it came with bigger storage, luckily it's upgradeable!

I am not easily impressed but this thing is amazing. I really wanted a steam deck but could not get myself to buy it due to the bad screen quality. Low resolution and bad colors. The ally does everything and have not had one issue. It runs windows so if you are familiar setup and use will be a breeze. Still a few software things I hope Asus improves on like more features for aura sync, allow macros to work in auto mode and a few other small things

Absolutely love my Ally. The ability to play games, and stream via cloud on the go is perfect. Then add having the full abilities of a laptop as well!! Highly recommend the ally.

At first i wanted to return it after a week of having it until i get the hamg of it trust me you won't regret having it. Its like walking around with a mini console in hand even the advantage of pairing your xbox n ps5 controls to it connect it to your tv its worth it even the game play
