Nice to be a PC gamer now
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It runs really well and is fast, the graphics are pretty good as well. The one thing I’m not a huge fan of is the battery life. It lasts somewhere between 1-2 hours. So not the best if you wanna take it on a long trip without somewhere to plug it in. But still pretty good. I love it.

Awesome Handheld
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome handheld PC. Great buy! The out of the box setting make it easy to play some great games with the push of a button. If you are anything like me and like to tinker with settings you can get some amazing performance out of the integrated graphics. Would recommend this product highly if you are in the market for an awesome portable gaming PC.

Better than expected
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing handles games much better than expected. Really enjoy it for Elite Dangerous, Euro Truck Simulator, and a few others. Docked one star for only one USB port.

Great but just missed perfection.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The device is very nice and plays some incredible games. However, the most important thing, battery life is quite short on this device. Short enough that it wouldn’t really work that well for handheld-heavy moments where you do not have the freedom to be plugged in to the power. I hope the ally 2 gets a massive increase in battery life.

Worth it for your PC gaming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m loving my ROG ally! It’s running games so smoothly! Some higher end games need tweaking but you can play them. Plus you have access to more stores than just Xbox and steam! Would recommend

If u want a better switch this is what you need.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my experience with the ROG Ally, it has made a favorable impact. While acknowledging the potential for battery improvement, its versatility as a handheld is commendable, adeptly handling indie and AAA games. For those still uncertain, watching a few videos could provide clarity. However, I wholeheartedly recommend it for gamers seeking a straightforward yet powerful handheld option.

Get this and a Mouse and folding keyboard...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before anything,, If you OWN AN ALLY!,,, for 4$ there is a right angled M.2 Adapter online that lets you put in a full 2280. Every other cheap PC handheld doesn't do that. in Theory if you could afford a 8TB drive, it could be done.. The screen size on the Go is tempting, This is lighter and still gets heavy in certain positions. I really Really HATE That ASUS needs to know who I am for a Graphics Driver...AMD releases Z1 Extreme drivers through the builder not directly.... And Windows.....almost want to hack it. Whatever happened to devices working and not holding themselves hostage without having my info? Shame on ASUS, Shame on Microsoft. the UI " works" but Big Picture is better. It runs Starfield better than I figured it would. The touch Keyboard is just not good! I wish you had the option to make it a 98% style for more functionality, or put a big move button so I can read what I'm typing. It's a great Device with mostly bloatware/software gags. Also final Gripe! Hall effect say What?

A good system once you get through the long set up
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a few weeks of playing on it, i can say that i really like playing on it. The biggest issue that i see alot of people talking about is that there is a long set up process. But once i got it set up, i have had a great experience with it. It is great for xbox game pass, which was my biggest complaint about the steamdeck. The proformance had been pretty good though i admit alot of the games i play are older and not as demanding.

Ally review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The performance of the ally was top notch. It feels well build, the controls are good, and the screen is great. My problem is that is needs a UI. Windows on a tiby screen is annoying. I ended up returning it for that reason.

Ally against SD and legion go
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was debating between the ally, sd OLED and legion go. The ally won out against the sd due to having better performance and windows which means I'm not limited to just steam as I have games from other platforms. Ally also won against the legion go as the legion is an ergonomic nightmare for me, it's just not comfortable. I love the ally and I'm happy with my purchase.

Legion Go
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a handheld collector, the Legion Go so far is my favorite one. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 star is because of the sd card problems (mine hasn’t had it yet). My solution to that was buy an adaptor and plug in a 2tb card (I could have gone to 4tb but that would be a little overkill).

Great handheld, but takes a little setup
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This handheld is great for those wanting a handheld with the flexibility of a windows device. One thing of note though is you have to understand that the experience isn’t going to be as straight forward as something like the steam deck or switch, it’s not a pick up and play device and will take some tweaking to get some functionality running smooth. Once you get it setup and running though it runs great and an impressive device.

Love rog ally
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a amazing product. I was able to use it right away simple to ugrade m.2 drive. Asus makes it easy once u have the latest bios up date done to down load the os image from the cloud right from there bios interface. Plays games it works for me the controller and everything. It runs very cool right out of box. Does not get hot. Diablo 4 runs amazing at about 60 fps at med seating for me. Has steam and xbox installed right off the bat.

Great machine!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this little thing. Playing AAA titles on a handheld with good graphics and framerate. There are some things you should think about before purchasing. If you're not willing to go through some of the optimization of games you might have a rough time trying to figure it out the first time. Street fighter is a good example of this. Hope this helps!
