When playing in battery though you will notice some stuttering. My SD slot is damaged as it was burned inside out however it still works. Don’t bother with a SD card, just get a bigger drive.

The biggest issue that i see alot of people talking about is that there is a long set up process. But once i got it set up, i have had a great experience with it. It is great for xbox game pass, which was my biggest complaint about the steamdeck. The proformance had been pretty good though i admit alot of the games i play are older and not as demanding.

Battery life is decent for what it is as long as you understand this is not meant to play top titles in turbo mode for hours. Biggest complaint is build quality. Some of the buttons felt fairly cheap for a device that costs $500+.

Battery last around 2 hours depending on which game you play with which is pretty good for a pc, gaming laptops are about the same

My 9 year old had been playing roblox on a tablet that was super laggy and this does this trick without having her sit at a computer. She can play anywhere she wants!

Although if you do want to play it on a bigger screen you would need to buy other cords and parts. Thats the only down fall to me.

One thing of note though is you have to understand that the experience isn’t going to be as straight forward as something like the steam deck or switch, it’s not a pick up and play device and will take some tweaking to get some functionality running smooth. Once you get it setup and running though it runs great and an impressive device.

Its like walking around with a mini console in hand even the advantage of pairing your xbox n ps5 controls to it connect it to your tv its worth it even the game play

Its not a console. So if thats the experience youre expecting youre in the wrong place. That said, its quickly become my facorite gaming device and had replaced my steam deck, switch, xbox, and desktop gaming PC. Being able to play all of my favorite games mobile is a dream come true. Ive had no problems witj it from day one. Kudos to ASUS for this masterpiece.

The screen is very good and performance is there, but poor QC and unfinished release makes it not worth it.

Buy a Steam Deck

I've been a PC gamer most of my life so I'm somewhat familiar with Window's quirks, but I with a handheld device youbgenerally want to get up and go, not fiddle with settings half the time. Is it more powerful? Sure. But that comes at a signifcant cost to battery life. What is the point of having a handheld device that you need to be tethered to a charger to use? At 15 watts the newer OLED Steam Deck is significantly more stable and has greater performance than the Ally at 15 watts. The Ally doesn't become more powerful until it hits it's 25 to 30 watt turbo mode. Just get the Steam Deck

Great handheld pc

I play my switch all the time but am disappointed by the limited library, I also have a ROG Zephyrus but dont have the accessibility to play it all the time. The Ally is a best of both worlds. With the updated ASUS has sent out it runs great. I have no problems playing Baldur's Gate 3, Elden Ring, and Cyber Punk 2077. Plus its modable
