Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because asus doesn’t seem to be supporting it software side as well as valve did for the steam deck. That my change but as of now it has been a little bit and miss

I know everyone keeps talking about the battery life on it, which is not long but it does everything I could ask for and more being a handheld. I bought it for the ability to travel and play on the go. You can’t look at it with it being a PC but rather a handheld gaming console. You’re able to play triple A games and even stream from it. It continues to amaze me with its possibilities.

I had the steam deck to and its great too but, it is a lot easier to play games on the ROG Ally than it is on the deck, less configurations you gotta do. Just wished the sd card wasn't an issue but you can easily upgrade it to a 2tb ssd.

It basically has the same battery as the steam deck but with a “better” CPU and screen. However, the better hardware taxes the battery.

My only issues was with windows i got it really early on and couldn’t put up with a lot of crashes . Now that i see on sale for 599$ i think is a better deal because you definitely need to upgrade the ssd . And get a good carrier case

They got this to me at a great deal. It’s performed very well for a handheld system and the Geek Squad at Best Buy keeps it in top shape for me!

It is my first handheld and yet I seem to be using my console and gaming pc more. The comfort is not what I like the most. Also it needs more memory for sure to make it a good product. But it does play games well when they work. Been hearing about all kinds of problems it so far I haven’t experienced any.

If you’re looking for just a gaming handheld there’s better options. The battery life on the ally is poor and it gets really hot.

It has the power of a PC and portability thats better than a laptop. I love this for when i have some time before classes when im bored. The overheating problem isnt too bad either. Overall great console.

It completely replaced my desk top, wish handheld could reasonablt have more power but for what it is works great. Played all of cyberpunk and it's dlc on it both as a handheld and docked to a TV.
