Hardware is awesome. There is an Ally X but i find the hardware pretty good. The biggest negative is Windows 11. ASUS's app is great at trying to hide the underlying OS but it is hampered by how messy gaming is implemented by game providers under Windows. Terrible for a portable console as the experience is far from seemless. I have seen people convert this to a SteamOS Linux machine and have been happy. I may try that.

Love it , is a “pc” you can take any where . Super Fun

I can play gta 5 at 1080p with 60+ fps. That is insane. I used to dream of a device like this growing up. Spiderman runs awesome on this epically with frame generation on?

Expectations met love being able to game anywhere. Only downside for me is battery life.

I bought the ally so I could play my games while traveling, but have quickly started playing most everything I can on it. Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because asus doesn’t seem to be supporting it software side as well as valve did for the steam deck. That my change but as of now it has been a little bit and miss

This handheld is awesome. I know everyone keeps talking about the battery life on it, which is not long but it does everything I could ask for and more being a handheld. I bought it for the ability to travel and play on the go. You can’t look at it with it being a PC but rather a handheld gaming console. You’re able to play triple A games and even stream from it. It continues to amaze me with its possibilities.

Solid device that can “easily” handle most titles with ease. Xbox game pass works solid and all platforms seem to run smoothly as long and OS is updated accordingly. Had since release and never had to return or an hiccups so far.

For a portable handheld gaming windows experience this is a great option but be prepared to charge this device regularly. It basically has the same battery as the steam deck but with a “better” CPU and screen. However, the better hardware taxes the battery.

Not a bad product. It is my first handheld and yet I seem to be using my console and gaming pc more. The comfort is not what I like the most. Also it needs more memory for sure to make it a good product. But it does play games well when they work. Been hearing about all kinds of problems it so far I haven’t experienced any.

I love it when i go in the train or long trips the only thing i dont like the battery it doesnt last long enough so i had to buy a powerbank just for that

This will run any game you want it to, great value for such little money

The best Windows handheld computer, with the best design resulting in the best performance.

Its quite versatile. You wont have to lug around a laptop on the go if youre strictly playing games on it. But you can purchase a seperate small monitor, if needed, for other computer related tasks. Only complaint is it takes a little bit to update the entire thing between asus updates and windows updates.

I have a high end PC but having a portable option that can play 80% of my steam library is unbeatable. The learning curve on how to optimize this for regular play can be a little unsettling. But once you learn how to adjust games graphics settings this becomes your regular gaming device.

Battery will drain fast but other wise it runs games fast and smoothly if you leave it plugged in.
