Best handheld gaming experience in my opinion. Leagues better than the Switch and more capable than the Steam Deck. Great for almost all games from Triple A to indy games. My only complaints are that the control sticks grind against the casing and that the A, B, X, Y face buttons feel loose and spongey.

had it for a couple of weeks now and I'm very impressed with it, basically is a handheld pc in your hands. games run smooth and pretty good frames so far haven't had any problems. also like the fact you can upgrade the storage which I plan on doing soon

If you only play steam games, buy the steamdeck. If you play games on any other platform as well as steam, this is the better option. Better performance at higher clocks. Performance at low wattage lags behind the deck slightly. Runs windows, so you can do whatever your PC can do.

The Rog Ally is a good device. Not great. The screen pops is holds an egde over the Steam Deck. Regrettably it is not quite as load and go as the SD is. Ms Games and Battlenet worked like a champ. I think in 6 or 8 months this will be an excellent alternative to the Steam Deck.

I’ve been really impressed with the ROG handheld. I’ve owned it since launch and at first it was a little rough, but after a few patches the system is really stable! I’ve basically turned the ROG into a docked emulator computer. Works great! Plays everything from NES to Switch. I play this more than my Steam Deck!

It is everything it is advertised to be. Some issues with getting joysticks to work in certain games and apps. But overall, it is a great little handheld computer.

Read all the reviews about this bad boy and i was a little hesitant at frist but i took a chance on it and it payed off this thing runs every thing I throw at it with little to no problems. The only the i whould say is this thing eats up power. So its best to play plugged in or get a extend power bank.

A very high cost for a device that will get you under two hours of battery time. That for me was the deal breaker. Paying $699+tax for a device that lasts less than 2hrs on a battery charge doesn't make this worth it. It's cool, and the idea is great, but even after running games at the lowest resolution which led to 30fps, it's just not worth it. COD MW2 spiked a lot performance-wise, and Diablo4 did alright. ROG has the right idea, but at this price point, I'd have liked it to have more than a supposed 2hr battery life which I never reached. Within 30-45mins of playing Diablo, I'd have to put it charging.

This thing is comfortable and easy to use. It performs great and has no problem running most games. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great for portable gaming. Main issue i have with it is both shoulder buttons can not activate at the same time. Not a deal breaker but is an inconvenience. Nice to be able to browse the internet unlike Steam Deck, but also lacking in other aspects.

Excellent item!! Great graphics and the advantage of using multiple game stores and emulation. Do your homework, this is not a typical handheld console, it’s a potable gaming PC. You will need to tweak settings for your games.

Runs fantastic. Playing modern games with decent fps and settings. Emulation is amazing.

This an incredible device. It’s very hard to put down, and having windows 11 on it, basically means you can do and play pretty much ANYTHING. A literal portable pc. In my opinion worth every penny. Only Con is that the battery can drain very quickly depending on what you’re doing. I can get 1 hour of Diablo 4 on it. If I’m running emulators, 2, maybe 3.

Great handheld gaming device held back by mediocre battery life at best. If you can deal with limited unplugged gaming time id highly recommend the device. I use it for Diablo 4, Snow Runner, Farming simulator 22, and Construction Simulator, all of which run really well.

ASUS has its up and downs with this device just for the bios alone for fine tuning it and making sure the bios doesnt decrease FPS, so in the long run it would be great for games like modern warfare 2 and below for graphics and def works great for minecraft
