While some individuals have faces issues with their Ally, I have had none whatsoever; Albeit I have not attempted to insert an SD card as I have not found it to be necessary yet. Otherwise, the performance of the Ally is to be admired, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an impressive handheld gaming device.

The ROG Ally is a great portable gaming PC, being able to play games like Cyberpunk 2077, Jedi Survival, Starfield, Forza Horizon 5, Hogwarts Legacy among many other AAA games on the go natively is just amazing, also its just perfect for emulation, you won't regret it.

Amazing handheld for the open box price that I paid, if you can find it below $400 open box it is an amazing get still.

Perfect size easy to take on go. Very user friendly. My ehole family has one and we can play games together.

For its age and equipment it does the job. As long as you dont expect to play 2025 aaa at max setting

This is my first gaming handheld console I had the pleasure of being able to purchase. The gaming quality is to die for. You can even turn it into a mini pc setup!

I was looking for something with performance of a console, portability and simplicity of a console. This checks all those boxes. I give the simplicity aspect a 7.5 out of 10 because its a Windows device, but I can easily see that as new updates rollout simplcity will only increase. This is a must buy for the gamer on the go.

As a truck driver I absolutely love this thing. I’m constantly on the go and on the move and rarely am home. With this I no longer have to struggle with bringing my counsel back and fourth to my truck. This I just toss it in my bag and can play the games that I play with ease!

Honestly this thing is a beast for gaming on the go!! Has it’s issues like anything else but nothing to bad.

Unlike any other handheld consoles the whopping 120Hz refresh rate makes this product a no brainer when it comes to buy it. The only downside is battery life, but if you know your way around it it’s no problem because with 15w of power instead of 25 and a external powerbank you can get 3-4 of constant gameplay.

Love it. Compared to having the Steam deck this blows it out of the water. Screen, power, and aesthetics. Be mindful that since it's a new product, there are some issues you will face. Like currently the mSD card reader issue frying mSD cards, but if you're not going to use an mSD card or don't care. Buy this handheld.

Solid device however during use it can be difficult to use the keyboard. Overall worth it’s price tag if you’re looking for a small portable gaming device.

Excellent if you have computer knowledge. I bought an open box for 150 off and it was like new, this thing is amazing. Took some messing around setup was probably an hour after updates and everything. Highly recommend this open box deal to anyone that wants one but doesn’t wanna spend 700

Bought it on a sale. Very worth the buck. And I was able to download all my favorite mk games

This machine has exceeded my expectations. I have been taking it with me for the last 2 weeks and have been impressed. The graphics are great, the ability to modify the system like a standard windows device is a nice bonus

Fantastic performance for the money it runs everything I want it to run and more

It works. It has random issues in typical ASUS fashion. Displays won't work using a Lenovo dock. Connecting an xbox controller may or may not work if you keep the joysticks enabled. Don't accidentally turn off the controller mode when touchscreen isn't on. If you don't have another input device connected, you're going to be incredibly annoyed. Turning it on/off is not the most responsive. I have to try a few times sometimes. The sticks are way too sensitive. The entire experience might be better if the sticks didn't feel like it was on skates. Other than these faults, it runs games pretty decently. Again, typical for ASUS.

Pros: portability, adaptability, power, windows 11. Cons: battery, only 1 usb c, upgrades, wondows 11. If you dont understand why i put window 11 for both then you might not want to get the device.

Very nice device, took a little knowledge to set up but nothing major. Looks super crispy even at 720p on some games. SD card is still working for me. Sticks are a bit loose but it’s only a problem with fps for me.
