Love the rog ally, fast shipping and would buy again

Picked up the Ally while it was $100 off. Don't regret it at all. It's a decent little machine in it's own right, but as a streaming, and emulation unit it really thrives.

Love this for when i am traveling for work. I hook it up to a dock and portable monitor. I actually got to play starfield without having to leave my itx build in a hotel room. It all fits in a case thats actually same size as my itx tower.

Great steam deck depending on if you want to be able to play steam games and games that require window with out having to use a micro sd card or install a dual boot system on the deck

It came like new. In the box, perfect condition. I saved a lot with the discounted price.

It is amazing to be able to have a small hand held computer to play games on the go only thingni wish is it you didn't have service it was easier to play some of the off lone games

Replaced a 512 steam deck and love the performance. I have had other windows handhelds in the past, and the fluidity of the this one is miles ahead. I can now play my ubisoft games and download game pass games.

Definitely has the power to play most of your games mobile. The constant updates and small bugs may turn some away from ease if use. If you are wanting a console type of experience, look elsewhere.

Despite the bugginess of the software switching between modes when the gamepad is set in automatic mode, its immensely impressive for a handheld but the price does not make it a steal.

If you want a handheld that is not a steamdeck, this is hard to beat for the price

Great Device, much better than the Steam Deck in my opinion. only thing holding it back from 5 stars is Asus's lack of support so far, We've only seen one bios update and it actually made performance worse.

This has been a fantastic augment to my Xbox Game Pass ultimate subscription as well as an excellent way to start working through my Steam and Epic backlog. Perfect to sit on the couch with while my partner watches tv.

It’s a pc that’s able to be used in handheld mode. It not a plug and play and you do have to adjust settings but when you get the hang of it, it truly is fun. Battery life is expected to be short, like a laptop or anything else. It’s fun and worth if you’re on the go

This is a great device overall, but the terrible battery life and the fact it's running a resource hungry Windows 11 is both a blessing and a curse. It's great as you can play any Windows game (just about) but also clunky and loaded with bloat, like Microsoft Office (which you'll never use, unless you plan on using this device as a PC replacement, which would not be a very good idea in my opinion). Overall, I can't recommend it as the key aspect of this device is portability and that is significantly hindered by poor battery life.

Love this thing took portable gaming to a new level, it isnt for nontechnical people lots of tweaking is involved but its amazing !!!! havent stopped using since i bought it over a month ago, im looking forward to the future of these little guys

I think this device has a lot of potential if the user experience is improved by the windows 11 handheld OS roll out. I enjoy playing xbox cloud games on this device and look forward to using it on vacation.

I was impressed with the performance of this portable gaming pc. It has double the processing power of a ps4 pro or Xbox series s I was able to run games like assassins creed Valhalla and kingdom hearts 3 at a good graphics setting smoothly

While my ROG Ally is generally ok, if undersized for elder eyes, the SD card slot is compromised by its placement adjacent to the heatsink (engineers didn’t pay attention in Electrical Engineering 101). Under heavy using (gaming, the primary purpose of this product), the data on the SD card will become corrupt due to heat, possibly beyond repair. While their does appear to be a soft recall, apparently, ASUS support and warranty repair is a consumer hostile experience in which ASUS will actively attempt to defraud or misdirect the consumer rather than resolve their actual issue. Please see GamersNexus and Louis Rossman on YouTube regarding their experience. As such, I won't bother using ASUS repair services, will accept the product as is, and will never purchase ASUS product again. When the joystick fails, i will replace that myself with Hall effect joysticks. Regarding the SD slot, to augment capacity, I simply replaced the NVMe SSD with a larger capacity model. I'd recommend the Steam Deck for a straightforward, console-like experience. For a more involved, enthusiast experience, i might suggest the Lenovo Legion Go or its successor (the controllers/grips need a redesign). I got lucky with my ASUS motherboard but won’t buy ASUS products again.

The Ally has become my main gaming device. The fans run very quietly and the device is always cool to the touch. The screen is beautiful. As far as handhelds go, Armory Crate has made Windows navigation about as good as its going to get without a touchpad and keyboard.

Finally a handheld that allows you to play virtually anything! Full windows 11 allows you to play games like call of duty, halo, forza, if you csn play it on a PC you can play on this! Totaly worth every cent!
