I love it, but it needs some work. The functionality isn't quite as simple as the steam deck but the power and speed are incredible. Batttery draining too quick is the only real concern I have.

I own the steam deck and while the steam decks UI is a lot more user friendly for beginners the overall experience is much more enjoyable on the ally for sure if you're familiar with the windows interface

Awesome handheld gaming console…never leave home without it

After unboxing day one, it was a must to update everything in Armoury crate, myasus, windows store, and windows update. After that long process everything is working great for me regardless of game launcher.

Good handheld to play game around your home. It's can play almost games at 60 fps, but weak battery. Average 2 hours.

As someone who has been playing on consoles for a very long time, this was a great step into pc gaming. I got an open box-excellent and there have been no issues with it in case anyone was wondering. Worth the savings.

I liked it but I didn’t I was considering buying this or a steam deck and I went with this and it’s kind of letdown I bought it open box I don’t know if that’s the reason but it was a little slow paying that much money and it was slow I was a little disappointed so I returned it I’m just gonna get to steam deck

I think this is a really good machine I use it I finished Mortal Kombat 1 the whole story on it and it played great flawlessly 1080p I had it plugged into my TV I think worthwhile this is a good purchase definitely you will enjoy this product

It's very nice and works well. 4 stars because of the short battery life of 2 hours and it looses charge overnight, but it functions well. I also added 1tb of space because it gets filled up so fast.

For the price its at now its a 5 star but i got it at 650. Its a solid device, havent had any issues and runs everything smoothly

I love the ROG Ally! Literally has everything I was looking for. I dont care nintendo games and Im a big fan of a lot triple AAA and have Xbox and playstation so the ability to play games from each service is a plus not to mention steam as well. Great purchase!

Love this device. Granted it can’t play super new AAA titles in max graphics but gets the job done when on the road. It’s windows based so any game from any launcher will run from this without any additional modification.

Love using it on the road to play games with my hotspot. Having a 65w power bank help it a lot on the go.

Can play steam games, xbox remote play, xbox cloud gaming, Windows PC games, Epic Store games, GoG games, Playstation cloud gaming for pc, and alot more. Bad thing is storage space.

This is actually really great product for the people whoare giving bad reviews that’s because you’re not familiar with PCs in PC operating systems it’s not a gameboy

Play any games you through at it like the big triple AAA titles; WARZONE, APEX LEGENDS, BLACK DESERT ONLINE, MONSTER HUNTER WORLD, ELDEN RING, DIABLO IV, REMNANT FROM THE ASHES 2 ETC, Mostly all games at 60+ fps t 720p resolution for maximum battery.

It’s handle all games not like steam deck , steam deck its limited but asus rig take with play any games you want system is amazing and fan work perfect never become hot

The ROG Ally is one of the best pieces of tech I’ve ever bought. Experienced no problems with heat, sd card reader or joy sticks. Expect typical Windows operation. Perfect for people that travel a lot. Pair this device with a portable monitor, keyboard and mouse.

This is a fantastic handheld gaming PC. I can run Diablo IV, PGA 2K23, Rocket League and even Vampire Survivors all flawlessly. When you first set it up, look up some guides on YouTube for how to optimize the machine and delete bloat, you'll thank me. Enjoy!
