A lot of these reviewers claim they love the device but yet give it 4 stars. This is a 5 star device for most people and a great way to get into pc gaming.

The thumbsticks feel awful, they are loose and just feel uncomfortable to navigate with. The battery life is atrocious. It’s actually shocking how they thought it would be ok. I owned the device for about a week before I decided I need to return this thing. I wish it was better but it wasn’t.

Totally worth the money.

Their tablet mode allows for more subtle use of the device. I rather pull out a tablet on the bus than look like a 3rd grader whipping out a Sega Game Gear and juicebox. Their absence in the Ally is a missed opportunity.

ChimeraOS is making great strides on getting linux to work on it. On normal windows desktops, i would remove armory crate immediately. But here it's basically required for this device and it's genuinely useful for the Ally. Wifi's a bit slow. Good chance it's a weird windows thing. Running speedtests from my phone and the Ally, my phone (pixel6) is 200+mbps faster. Same AP, same distance. Hopefully that's something that will improve. If you do buy it, be prepared to update, update, update. Set aside some time. When you think you're done with all the windows and armory crate updates, open the start menu search MyAsus and update again.

The functionality isn't quite as simple as the steam deck but the power and speed are incredible. Batttery draining too quick is the only real concern I have.

Definitely add a micro SD card or replace the internal SSD because there is not enough storage.

Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get into mobile gaming. Runs quiet and in turbo mode has the best graphics of any handheld I have ever used. Games run super smooth.

The speed is pretty good and graphics card is also good as well, but it does takes some time getting used to Armoury Crate.

Silky smooth gameplay and i love this badboy. Note i also own the SteamDeck as well and love it just as much. Kudos
