As a handheld gaming PC its awesome. As a desktop PC it works surprisingly well. Most games look better than I expected. The thing is a beast.

working perfectly. console is in good condition. although i did not get outer box and charger.

Best handheld I have ever used. A little more tweaking can be necessary than the steam deck, but so many more platform options.

Fun at work keep it updated and boom its a very good system to have fun on the road trips

I love it. Just replace windows is with bazzite os and youre golden.

I bought this console for my boyfriend and he says it is nice. He is really into portable game consoles since he is always on the go. So far no problems and downloads games easily.

Its good first time pc handheld user ..i didn't like the fact thatvthere wasn't any padding in the shipping box ..ifbi was going to receive it in that manner i would havr picked it up

Its a great option for ppl who cant afford a pc and rnjoy a handheld . The games also run very smooth

Love this handheld but it does need some software updates. I feel the software and battery life are the only thing holding it back.

I had a great time the ROG Ally! I played a TON of Forza Horizon 5 with it, alongside other games. If you can get it at a good price I'd say it's worth it.

Great little device. Wonderful for gaming on the couch away from the home PC or remote streaming on the couch or on the TV. It's been doing it's job pretty admirably so far.

Purchased this as a combination of a portable work station and gaming system. The idea of a full Windows installation alongside cutting edge portable gaming features made it too good to pass up. It was cheaper than a laptop and I don't actually need much more than the RAM and OS for my workstation aspects. Unfortunately, the gaming half fell short. After performing a lot of setup and installing my first game, I was greeted by what sounded like blown speakers. WHOA THERE! Don't click reply yet. I turned the performance up to 15W and there was some improvement until I got into the action. DROP THE MOUSE! I also disabled spacial audio. I was finally able to play a game with audio... until I reached an area with higher pitched music. I thought I was just imaging it, but the crackle returned. I read where someone said that if you notice more crackle at 16Hz, it may be a speaker issue. As luck would have it, that is exactly the setting for the test sound in Windows. It was crystal clear. It's unlikely the speakers are actually blown out of the box, but I can't help wondering if the crackle is eventually going to damage them and how much I really want a gaming device where gaming is the issue.

Computer repair technician here. The machine is great, love Asus ROG. The condition was not, as it was listed at open box, and has "inspected by best buy" on the box, but was a faulty unit, with stick drift on the right joystick, and non-functioning speakers. Open box lists full functionality, and minor scuffs or scratches, not a defective system with no cables in the packaging, but that's what I sort of expected from Best Buy (no hate, it happens), so I'm okay with it. Not everything can be checked, and I don't expect someone to be that thorough with a unit they only really need to spend a few minutes with. It makes sense, because it's quantity over quality for best buy, and there no other place to get one of these in person around me. Thankfully it's nothing that I can't fix, and I already had a 65w type c charger for my rog phone, but it worries me to see what would happen if a non computer repair technician were to buy this, expecting what was listed like I was, and not as equiped for the situation. If they offer warranty, I likely wouldn't accept it given the common turnaround time, but again, it happens.

Pretty good for the price and technology but battery life is just not there right now even at lower wattage and less demanding games.

I love my rog ally perfect for gaming and even to be used as my main PC. I know theres lots of people having issues and complaining a lot but to be honest mine runs perfect so far.

This has become my backlog machine. I have been using this more and using my desktop with an RTX 4090 in it less. The portability is a great advantage.

Great handheld PC. Very easy to use and powerful enough to do what I wanted it for.

Works great, use it as my main pc and bought a mount for my monitor and not had any issue

Everything about this is fast and easy to use, small problem though. When taking out of the box, their were some loose screws. I checked it out and everything seems to be fine. Not issue found. Just kinda weird.
