Brought it last month, this Asus rog ally works perfectly fine honestly it's A plus purchase, games run fine, windows 11 is actually not bad on the device

Amazing powerful portable gaming machine that gets the job done of playing current gen games.

Ive been wanting a handheld for a long while and this was a great buy for me. I can log into all of my game accounts and play most anything in my libraries. I personally havent run into any deadstick or sd card reader issues though others have. Mostly playing diablo 4 and a few older games on it but so far so good! I really like how its a pc as well. With a hub plugged in I can run a hdmi, a mouse, and keyboard to it and use it as a pc and unplug and game when i want. I really like it.

LOVE this. I’m a gamer, love my PC don’t get me wrong. But there’s nothing like relaxing in bed or on the couch with the ability to play alll my PC games hand held. 10/10

Coming from a Steam Deck, the ROG Ally blows it away. Screen is amazing. Very comfortable to hold and performance is incredible.

Asus Rog Ally is an incredible powerful gaming handheld but sofware is buggy and battery life is rwally bad. 1 hour for tripple AAA game runing at 25W and 75% or more brigness. We need a breakthrough battery tech to helo us as soon as possible. Also Windows is not touch friendly we need Microsoft to do their job.

Better then my steam deck. Has ability to play more games becusse it runs windows 11.

I really want to love this device, but Windows 11 is causing issues that are affecting my overall experience. While games run well at 720p and 900p, exceeding the performance of a Switch, other aspects of the device are suffering due to Windows 11. Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot these issues?

Gaming PC in the palm of your hand! We took this on a trip and played Subnautica and Horizon: Zero Dawn. Both performed excellently. The battery lasted long enough to game most of our two hour flight with some charge still left on it. Of course, we plug it in when possible as battery life is probably the weakest point. That said, I’d trade it for the power and clarity this delivers over the competition.

I personally own two rog ally z1 extreme and one rog ally z1 models and there great especially for the low price they are at now

In general, the performance to play triple AAA party games is great. I was able to play World of Warcraft classic in 30min-1hr using a controller mod, and Diablo IV a few times. Unfortunately when I went to access my games from the SD Card, the drive was no longer appearing. This is unfortunate as that was the option I chose to have extra games stored there. I went to ASUS website to open a repair ticket as I pre-ordered this and had it launch day, but ASUS directed me to go to Best Buy where I purchased to have it repaired. So now they have and are sending to the regional repair center states away for 2-4 weeks. I have ASUS 4K gaming monitors and so on and never had an issue, they seemed to really rush this. Another issue is this is meant to be a mobile gaming device, and when trying to compete with the steam deck, not including a case is a negative, but then selling a separate case that cannot house the charger for it is a double negative. I would recommend just getting a steam deck, which I had before and wished I just stuck with that. Hopefully ASUS fixes future units

Wonderful portable pc! It plays games smoothly up to 60 fps on 1080p the screen is awesome it truly does what it promises!

Awesome product by Asus..Ive played in this gaming handheld devices everything works fine and good but sometimes the FPS lag and the games sometimes freeze and hangs up..and again I've to reboot it and it's all fine..I think Asus will solve this problem in the new future..

I think that the Asus Rog Ally is by far the best handheld gaming device I’ve ever had the pleasure of laying my hands on. Its everything I’ve ever wanted in a high end handheld and more.. much much more.. the fact that this beast runs Windows is also a huge bonus as I can also use it for some editing and various other tasks. Too bad 5 stars is the limit because I’d give 10 if I could. #Amazed

I bought an open box of this product and it has amazed me from day one. I can't believe so much computing power can be packed into such a small device! It has no issues handling some of my favorite games (Sims 4, SWTOR, Guild Wars2) and I am enjoying being able to game again immensely. Definitely recommend! I still think I'll end up getting a more robust PC at some point, but this definite works in the interim!

Great windows handheld More powerful than the steam deck and slimmer

Don’t let people tell you otherwise, the ROG Ally is awesome! I’ve had mine since launch and have zero issues or complaints. Everything works as advertised, highest quality, high FPS, AAA gaming in your hands. This is not a Nintendo Switch but as long as you know your way around a windows PC you will be right at home. This is exactly what I dreamed about when I was a kid, a one and done everything gaming console in your hands. No compromises, a home run in my opinion

This device has blown me away. The performance is unbelievable and the display is gorgeous. Ergonomics leave a bit to be desired, but easily fixable with aftermarket silicone grips. Battery life is pretty bad if running on "turbo" mode. Aside from those couple things, ai absolutely love it. Very happy with my purchase!
