I love this thing. It's great that I can use it for work since its a full pc but the gaming on it is great.

Only problem is the software can be buggy, and i wish there was some sort of auto tdp

I wish I could give it a 5, but there are some frustrating things that come with dealing with windows on such a tiny screen. To get the FULLY potential from this (such as enhancing games via emulation that you own*), you need a mouse/keyboard and dock. Outside of a couple of other frustrating windows things, this handheld is much better than Steam Deck in my opinion, and I do not regret selling my old one.

Best handheld I have ever had. I miss my Sony PSP Vita but it has been dethroned. RIP Vita RIP. All Hail Rog Ally by Asus!

Great portable way to access all of my Steam, Epic, EA and Xbox pc games library.

Left stick feels like it may have some sort of spot in it, and right trigger needed calibration. Other than that. It’s an awesome handheld I use it often. Main reason for purchase is to play PC games but not at a desk. I prefer to play while relaxed, this is perfect for that.

Great device! With a USB dock, it can easily replace a laptop as well.

The ROG Ally is a lot of fun and a great little Windows PC. Make sure to update everything to get the most out of your experience.

I think if Asus decides to make an ally 2 it’s going to be absolute killer machine. As of right now though, I can’t say I’d really recommend the ally with the unfixable (as of now) SD card issue and Asus’s less than stellar customer service. The system Itself feels great in the hands and the shoulder buttons are nice and crisp feeling. However, the analog sticks feel a little loose for my liking and the face buttons are kinda cheap feeling for the amount of money you’re spending. It’s not all doom and gloom though. Hardware issues aside, The ally runs pretty much whatever game I throw at it flawlessly and at decent settings. Running on Windows is an absolute plus as well. Honestly, hold off on an ally purchase. The market on handheld gaming PCs is just getting off the ground and I think we’re going to see some pretty amazing machines sooner rather than later.

Bought used and the power cord does not work. Other than that it us just like a really cool desktop

Definitely a must for kids to be entertained during a trip or just to have some quiet time. Easy to use and perfect size.
