    This was a cool device but not what I expected it to be. Gaming wasn’t enjoyable on it and I’ve only used it 1-2 times since I bought it in November. I paid way too much to have this thing in the box. Sorry but I had to return it

    Very disappointed with this product . Performance is slow , battery life is pathetic . This unit became a paper weight that I replaced with a switch 2 . Honestly shocked with how poorly this thing performs .

    Flawed packaging/shipping by Bestbuy

    Recieved the item in probably the cheapest cardboard box and no package insulation. No damage to the outside of the Ally package but from shifting the hard plastic sleeve has given the gloss coating on the panel a slight scuff and pitting marks. I experienced this same issue with Alienwares AW3423DW on release. They did not use a foam screen cover to protect the screen. This issue is 50/50 asus/bestbuy, poor boxing and cheap shipping. Another thing that caught me by suprise was the CARDBOARD stand, really? Tried playing Diablo 4 on it which can handle 60 fps at 720p but the software (gamepad) is broken for the vendors, it acts as if the left button is ghost clicking every three seconds. Id suggest you wait until they figure out how to package this device properly.

    It's an awesome handheld gaming pc, but it will not play modern AAA games at 1080p at 120 fps.

    Charging port burned out on me out of nowhere after 10 months of hardly being used i only used it for maybe 4 hours per week wish i had never bought this thing now i have to get it repaired and after that im gettimg rid of it asap it gets super hot too womt be bu yo ng any asus products anymore

    Had this for a couple months now, and its completely unstable in the 30w "turbo" mode its advertised to be capable of. Just sitting on the desktop, downloading something will cause it to crash then get stuck in a bootup loop because it's too hot. Attempting to play Forza 5 on just the 15w mode and the built-in controller will randomly disconnect causing it to crash also. Mine has turned into a paperweight that i only watch youtube on. Would never purchase this again.

    From the day I purchased this device, though it is nice, it's absolutely inconvenient. From hardware issues like dead joy sticks, to poor software optimization, to Issues with connecting to wifi. After the first week my left joystick died and for $13 for a new stick and $50 for a tool kit I replaced it. Then came strictly software issues. The device connects to the internet, Steam will not, xbox will not, EA will not, but watching youtube works, Netflix etc. Fixed it once but wont say how since theres a hundred solutions to each problem but only one may work for you. After researching solutions to my new internet connectivity issues It dawned on me how many other people who have spent a good amount of money are basically buying expensive paper weights. Also BE AWARE ASUS does not like fixing their own issues and will down right blame you!

    Good product, but has flaws

    I enjoy my ROG-ALLY, but for the price I expected more flawless gameplay. The speakers are not very good, and have a lot of intereference causing static. A lot of games glitch on the device, and some are basically unplayable.

    "Excelleny" condition open box ..... device cane in a zip lock bag and no charger...... i picked the item up curbside then walked in to return it..... BestBuy's definition of "excellent" is completely crazy.... missing items makes this fait condition.... the store offered me no discounts or solutions..... just "do you want to return it?".... yes I do..... very disappointed in BestBuy.
