3. SD card is first time use?
4. SD card worked on other devices after failing on the Ally?
5. Thermal profile usually used > Silent / performance / turbo / manual

Cool concept, not ready by a long shot

Took over 30 minutes to map keys and then didn’t even work right. Also, dashboard was super confusing for controller settings etc. excellent concept but needs a lot of work.

Youll save yourself major headaches. Never got this fully working. The apps never worked properly, the apps would randomly crash. Formated over 4 times and still the same. Youll spend more time downloading useless updates and trying to figure out why games dont work. If you can, just get a console. Pc gaming is overrated

Supposedly its supposed to play games?

You start them but nothing happens. Same with windows store Xbox games like Forza 3 4 or 5, you start them, the small splash screen comes up and then it just closes. All windows updates done all AMD updates done All Asus updates done though the asus app continually said there is an update for one of the asus apps but it never actually works, it keeps saying there is an update. Feels nice in the hands. Looks great. Supposedly its supposed to play games?

GARBAGE!!!

By the beginning of march it stopped working completely. I went to Best Buy to see if they could fix it but they couldn’t. I had to talk to the asus company but they didn’t fix it either they didn’t send it back or anything. Don’t waste your money.

Need a lot of improvements.

If your looking for a device that’s easy to use. Not buggy. Where you spend the limited time you have actually gaming and not troubleshooting. This is not the device for you. It’s garbage. Paywalled behind asus hardware. I bought the asus brand dock and the UGreen dock. Neither work. It’s constantly losing setting, changing setting w/o my action. Just don’t buy it. Get a steam deck.

Buggy Windows 11 implementation, screen too hard to play and see. Heavy, awkward. Trying to play COD on this device is a waste of time.

Ok but not worth the hefty price
